ALAN JACKSON'S FINAL SHOW BREAKS RECORD FOR HIGHEST-GROSSING CONCERT IN HISTORY
Alan Jackson's farewell concert has officially been confirmed as the highest-grossing single concert by any artist in history, according to newly released figures from Touring Data, cementing the country legend's final touring performance as a landmark moment in live-music economics.
The show, "Last Call: One More for the Road – The Finale," took place June 27, 2026, at Nashville's Nissan Stadium and grossed $34.7 million, with all 56,000 available tickets sold. The average ticket price of $618.95 also set a new record as the highest average price ever reported for a stadium concert, making Jackson the first artist in history to cross the $30 million threshold for a single show.
Notably, Jackson's record-breaking finale coincided with another milestone in country music on the same night: roughly 4,000 miles away, Garth Brooks headlined a sold-out show at London's BST Hyde Park, marking his first UK performance in nearly three decades. Both artists broke into the industry around the same era — Brooks released his debut album in 1989, the same year Jackson signed his first record deal — and both went on to help shape the genre's massive commercial expansion in the years that followed.
Jackson's career included 35 No. 1 country hits, 50 top-10 singles, and worldwide album sales of nearly 60 million. Of his chart-topping singles, Jackson personally wrote or co-wrote 26. He joined the Grand Ole Opry in 1991 and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2017, cementing his status as one of the genre's most influential and consistent hitmakers.
The Nissan Stadium finale drew a lineup of artists Jackson helped inspire, and closed with fireworks during a performance of his signature hit "Chattahoochee," followed by a two-song encore. The concert will be released as a live album in December and is also set to air later this year as an NBC concert special, giving fans who couldn't attend a chance to witness the night that redefined what a single concert can earn.
