Angel Reese Gets Trolled With Her Own Taunt at WNBA Championship Parade

The Golden State Valkyries held their WNBA championship parade Wednesday in San Francisco.

And Angel Reese was the target of the day.

The Atlanta Dream forward’s own ‘too small’ taunt from Game 3 of the Finals was turned back on her by Valkyries fans — and at least one former NBA champion.

Video shows Festus Ezeli, a center on the 2015 Golden State Warriors title team, standing on a Valkyries parade float holding up a custom T-shirt.

The shirt features a photo of Reese doing the ‘too small’ gesture.

But her face is replaced with the Crying Michael Jordan meme.

The image has spread across X and TikTok, racking up hundreds of thousands of views.

Some fans online have started asking where they can buy the same shirt.

This was not an isolated incident.

At the parade, a printed flyer was also handed out showing the Crying Jordan meme morphed onto Reese’s head while she makes the ‘too small’ gesture.

The flyer reads: “If found, return to ATL.”

It was not an official Valkyries handout — fans made it.

Another fan posted a photo of a custom T-shirt with Reese’s hand doing the taunt and the words “Two Small Years.”

The line is a jab at the Dream franchise, which has existed since 2008 without a title, while the expansion Valkyries won their first championship in just their second season.

That is the fastest expansion-team title in WNBA history, beating the Seattle Storm’s fifth-year turnaround in 2004.

The taunt that started it all happened in Game 3 of the Finals, played in Atlanta.

Reese directed the ‘too small’ gesture toward the Valkyries bench, specifically at center Aminata Gueye.

She also appeared to call Gueye a “bum” after the 97-71 blowout win that gave the Dream a 2-1 series lead.

The Valkyries did not forget.

They won the next three games, taking the series in seven games on their home floor at Chase Center.

After Game 7, Warriors rookie Yaxel Lendeborg clapped back at Reese with a similar gesture.

Valkyries players also mocked Reese on social media after the win.

The parade was the final chapter in that running storyline.

Ezeli, who spent four seasons with the Warriors and won a 2015 NBA championship, now works as an analyst for NBC Sports Bay Area.

He has been seen around the Valkyries, occasionally speaking with guard Kate Martin.

Reese’s performance in the Finals was strong by the numbers.

She averaged 14.7 points, 12.9 rebounds and three assists per game across the seven-game series.

She shot 40 percent from the field and 37 percent from three-point range.
