The Noblesville Boom have officially revealed their full roster.

The new Basketball League franchise, based in Noblesville, Indiana, announced its inaugural lineup this week.

Headlining the roster is Indiana Pacers rookie guard Braden Smith.

Smith, the former Purdue standout, just made his NBA debut on Nov. 3, 2026, against the Atlanta Hawks.

In that game, he recorded 19 points, 10 assists, 4 rebounds and 3 steals.

The next night against the Memphis Grizzlies, he added 10 points.

Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle praised the rookie in a press conference this week, calling him "inspiring."

Now Smith is also committed to playing for the Boom in The Basketball League, a professional minor league that operates across the United States.

The roster reveal was first reported by the Indianapolis Star, with Yahoo Sports also carrying the story.

Other notable names on the Boom roster include Rienk Mast and Keba Keita, according to the Star.

Mast, a forward, played college basketball at Nebraska and previously at Bradley.

Keita, a center, played at Utah and most recently at BYU.

Both players bring size and experience to the Boom frontcourt.

The TBL, founded in 2017, is a professional league designed to give players a pathway to higher levels of basketball.

It features teams in markets that are not currently served by the NBA or NBA G League.

Noblesville is a city of about 70,000 people, located roughly 20 miles north of downtown Indianapolis.

The Boom will play their home games at the Noblesville High School gymnasium, according to earlier reports.

Smith's participation in the TBL while also playing in the NBA is unusual but not unprecedented.

NBA players have occasionally played in minor leagues during off periods or as part of rehabilitation assignments.

However, Smith is an active NBA rookie who is currently on the Pacers' standard roster.

The Pacers have been dealing with significant injury issues in the early part of the season.

Tyrese Haliburton suffered a hamstring strain and is out at least two weeks, according to the team.

Ben Sheppard had surgery for a torn meniscus, and Carlisle said he is unsure if Sheppard will return this season.

Obi Toppin missed games with a back issue that flared up during a team walkthrough.

At one point, the Pacers were down to just six available players for a game against the Atlanta Hawks on Nov. 2.

Those six players — three standard roster guys and three two-way players — included Smith, who played significant minutes.

The Pacers lost that game 108-104 but the effort drew attention.

Smith's debut week with the Pacers has been a bright spot in an otherwise difficult stretch for the team.

Indiana started the season 2-2 but then lost four straight games, falling to 2-6.

The losses included defeats to the Philadelphia 76ers, Miami Heat, Brooklyn Nets and Atlanta Hawks.

Despite the losing streak, Smith's individual performances have been solid.

His 19-point, 10-assist debut was one of the best opening games by a Pacers rookie in recent memory.

Now, with the Noblesville Boom roster reveal, Smith is also becoming a face of local minor-league basketball.

The Boom are expected to begin their TBL season in early 2027.

The full roster includes a mix of former college players, local talent and players with professional experience.

The team's name, "Boom," was chosen to reflect the city's growth and energy, according to team officials.

Noblesville has been one of the fastest-growing cities in Indiana over the past decade.

The addition of a professional basketball team adds to the area's sports landscape.

Smith's involvement gives the Boom instant credibility and local star power.

He is one of the most recognizable Purdue basketball players in recent years, having led the Boilermakers to deep NCAA tournament runs.

His college career included multiple All-Big Ten selections and a national runner-up finish in 2024.
