Darren Till Slams Daniel Cormier as a UFC “Company Man

Darren Till has called out Daniel Cormier, labeling the former two-division UFC champion and current commentator a "company man."

The British fighter did not mince words in his criticism of Cormier's commentary work.

"Any guy who's got the second name 'Magomedov,' he's just always biased," Till said.

"He's just a company man."

"He doesn't say what he should really say on his mind."

"I can smell that bulls--- from over this corner of the world."

"F--- off with your bulls---, mate."

"I've got no time for that whatsoever."

The outburst follows a recent wave of criticism aimed at Cormier's commentary during UFC 333.

Dominick Reyes knocked out Azamat Murzakanov at that event and then publicly graded Cormier's performance.

Reyes gave Cormier an "F-plus" for his commentary during the fight.

Till has gone after Cormier before.

In September, he ripped Cormier for defending Usman Nurmagomedov's cage jump at UFC Shanghai.

"It's not that I don't like him," Till said in his latest remarks.

"I just see right through his bulls---."

"I wouldn't say it to his face, mind you, because he's a f------ animal of a fighter, but you can just see through his bulls---."

Cormier has faced other recent criticism from fighters.

Sean O'Malley and his coach Tim Welch took issue with Cormier pushing for a Song Yadong title shot.

O'Malley and Welch later cleared the air with Cormier.

Till's comments add to a growing chorus of fighters questioning Cormier's objectivity.

The former UFC welterweight title challenger made clear he believes Cormier favors fighters from the Dagestani wrestling pipeline.

Cormier himself is a former Olympic wrestler and trained for years with Khabib Nurmagomedov and his team.

That connection, in Till's view, creates a clear bias in Cormier's commentary.

Till did not stop at the bias accusation.

He framed Cormier's approach as a deliberate choice to protect his position.

"He doesn't say what he should really say on his mind," Till said.

That line — "company man" — carries weight in the fight world.

It suggests a commentator who prioritizes the UFC's interests over honest analysis.

Cormier has worked as a UFC commentator since retiring from active competition in 2020.

He is widely considered one of the best analysts in the sport.

But his close relationships with many top fighters, particularly those from the Dagestan region, have drawn scrutiny.

UFC 333 took place on November 8, 2026, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Reyes' knockout of Murzakanov was one of the most talked-about moments of the card.

Reyes himself did not hold back in his post-fight assessment of Cormier's work.

The "F-plus" grade was a direct shot at the commentary team.

Till, meanwhile, has been active in bare-knuckle fighting.

He signed with BKFC and has two wins under that banner.

BKFC president David Feldman recently said the promotion has "big names" lined up for Till.

Feldman told MMA Fighting that an announcement could come within two weeks.

Till was also in talks to fight Jake Paul in a boxing match.

Those talks fell through when Paul chose to face Cedric Doumbe instead.

Feldman said he supports his fighters taking big outside paydays but wants BKFC plans to come first.

"If we have something that works for him, he's going to do that first," Feldman said.

Till's criticism of Cormier is not the first time a fighter has questioned a commentator's impartiality.

Joe Rogan has faced similar accusations over the years.

So has Michael Bisping.

The role of a UFC commentator is unique in sports.

Commentators are employed by the promotion.

They are expected to analyze fights fairly while also promoting the product.

That tension has led to frequent complaints from fighters who feel they were not given a fair assessment on the mic.

Till's remarks are among the most pointed in recent memory.

He did not just criticize Cormier's analysis.

He accused him of dishonesty.

"I can smell that bulls--- from over this corner of the world," Till said.

The comment suggests a long-standing frustration.

Till and Cormier have never had a public feud before this.

But Till has clearly been watching Cormier's commentary closely.

His reference to fighters with the surname Magomedov is a direct jab at Cormier's relationship with the Nurmagomedov family.

Khabib Nurmagomedov retired undefeated in 2020.

His cousin Usman Nurmagomedov fights in Bellator.

Others with the same last name have appeared in various promotions.

Cormier has trained with many of them.

He has also praised them on air.

Till believes that praise crosses the line into bias.

Whether Cormier will respond to Till's comments remains unclear.

Cormier has not addressed the criticism publicly as of this writing.

He did, however, smooth things over with O'Malley and Welch after their earlier dispute.
