Enzo Amore Reportedly Backstage at WWE NXT Ahead of Return

Potentially returning star Enzo Amore reportedly visited backstage at WWE NXT.
According to a report from Fightful Select, Amore was present at the WWE Performance Center on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, prior to that night's episode of NXT.
He was not alone.
TNA Wrestling star Joe Alonzo was also reportedly visiting the facility that same evening.
Fightful could not confirm that Amore had signed a contract with WWE.
The report stated that Amore and Alonzo were merely visiting the Performance Center.
But his presence at the tapings sends a strong signal that Amore could be back in the WWE fold.
This is not the first time Amore has been linked to a WWE return in 2026.
Earlier this year, he was spotted at the Performance Center, sparking rumors that a comeback was imminent.
That return did not materialize at the time.
Now, with a second visit in the same year, speculation has intensified.
Amore's name has reportedly been discussed internally within WWE for several months.
Initial conversations about a potential return emerged in connection with Big Cass' return to the company.
Cass himself returned to WWE from AEW earlier this year.
He is currently wrestling on Raw as an ally to new WWE Intercontinental Champion Ethan Page.
Many fans had hoped for a reunion between Amore and Cass, the former tag team partners who rose to fame together in NXT.
That reunion has not materialized so far.

But there has reportedly been continued interest in bringing Amore back into the WWE fold.
A separate report from Wrestling Headlines recently indicated that multiple people within WWE believe Amore is on his way back to the promotion.
WWE has not officially confirmed his return.
There has been no public announcement regarding a new contract or potential television appearance.
Amore has also explored opportunities outside of WWE.
Sources within AEW indicated earlier this year that the former Cruiserweight Champion had tested the waters about potentially joining them.
It is unclear whether AEW had any interest in signing Amore.
It is also unclear if the two sides had any significant talks.
Amore raised eyebrows earlier this year when a video featuring him and Maven Huffman saw him be highly critical of AEW.
It was later revealed that the video had been filmed a year before it was posted.
In that same video, Amore was highly complimentary of AEW for their handling of the death of his friend PAC.
Amore's previous WWE run was marked by both success and controversy.
He became a recognizable personality through his partnership with Big Cass.
The duo established themselves as a popular act in NXT before moving to the main roster.
Amore later competed in WWE's cruiserweight division.
He captured the Cruiserweight Championship during that time.
His WWE career came to an abrupt halt in 2018.

He was fired from the company amid serious allegations made by a woman on social media.
The allegations included sexual assault and witness tampering.
Amore denied the allegations at the time.
He was dropped by WWE before any legal resolution.
Months later, the criminal charges were dropped after a police investigation found insufficient evidence.
Amore has not wrestled for WWE since that firing.
He has made appearances on the independent wrestling circuit.
He has also been active on social media, occasionally commenting on the wrestling industry.
His reported presence at the Performance Center is the latest indication that a potential return remains under discussion.
A backstage visit does not necessarily mean that a deal has been finalized.
It does, however, signal that conversations between Amore and WWE are ongoing.
The Wrestling Headlines report noted that Amore's return has been discussed internally for months.
That report also stated that his name initially surfaced in connection with Big Cass' return.
Although nothing has materialized on that front, there continues to be talk within WWE about bringing Amore back.
For now, it remains unclear whether Amore will return to WWE programming.
It is also unclear whether he would reunite with Big Cass.
He could also pursue another opportunity outside the company.
The wrestling world is watching closely for any official announcement.
