Garth Brooks Announces 10 Stadium Shows in Ireland for 2027

Garth Brooks announces 10 Irish concerts for 2027.
Country music superstar Garth Brooks has announced 10 concerts across five Irish cities for 2027.
The singer will perform two shows each in Belfast, Galway, Kilkenny, Limerick and Cork next May and June.
The tour will begin at Boucher Road Playing Fields in Belfast on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 May.
It will then move to Pearse Stadium in Galway on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 May.

Brooks will then perform at UPMC Nowlan Park in Kilkenny on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 June.
Next comes TUS Gaelic Grounds in Limerick on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 June.
The final two concerts will take place at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork on Friday 18 and Saturday 19 June.
Speaking about his Irish tour Brooks said: "This has been a dream of mine since the first time we played Ireland."
"Once you get a taste of how the Irish love music, you can't play there enough!" he added.

Tickets for all 10 concerts go on sale on Thursday 12 November at 8am.
Brooks last performed in Ireland in September 2022, when he played five sold-out concerts at Dublin's Croke Park, with more than 400,000 tickets sold.
The country music superstar took to the stage on 9, 10, 11, 16 and 17 September, marking his first Irish concerts in 25 years, having previously performed at Croke Park in 1997.
The hugely anticipated shows came eight years after his planned five-night run at the Dublin stadium was cancelled in 2014.
Dublin City Council had granted licences for just three of the five concerts, prompting Brooks to cancel the entire run.

The 2014 cancellation was the result of a licensing dispute with locals around the venue and the local authorities.
Dublin City Council said at the time that it would only grant licences for three of concerts in Dublin but the singer refused to perform unless all five went ahead.
Brooks is on his Blame It All On My Roots arena tour, which began in the United States in August.
The tour marks a return to the indoor arenas where he performed during the height of his success in the 1990s.
Earlier this year, the 64-year-old headlined a sold-out concert at London's Hyde Park on 27 June.

The singer also completed a two-year residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas in March 2025, having performed 72 shows at the venue.
Brooks is also preparing to release a vinyl edition of his best-selling live album Double Live on Friday, 6 November.
Originally released in 1998, the album features recordings from his world tour between 1996 and 1998.
Brooks is known as the biggest selling artist in US history and the first and only artist to pass 200 million albums sold.
He is also the first and only artist to receive ten RIAA Diamond Awards for ten albums certified at over 10 million.

According to the RIAA, Double Live is the biggest selling live album and the top-selling country album in the US.
Double Live, No Fences, Ropin' the Wind, and Triple Live are four of the top five best-selling country albums of all time.
He also has 20 Billboard #1 singles to his credit.
Brooks was the first artist to garner top-5 singles at country radio in five consecutive decades: the '80s, '90s, '00s, '10s and '20s.
The 2027 Irish tour will be his first time performing in the country since the 2022 Croke Park shows.
Those 2022 concerts attracted more than 400,000 ticket sales, making his return one of the biggest live music events in the country's recent history.
The tour was announced by Brooks via a video on social media of him opening up an empty road case displaying the five cities at the top of the lid.
Before giving an awkward chuckle, Brooks told the Emerald Isle: "Ireland, we're coming to you this time."
Tickets go on sale Thursday 12 November at 8am from www.ticketmaster.ie.
The concerts are promoted by Aiken Promotions.
