Grace is no longer just a bystander on Earth but has become a highly prominent and brilliant astrophysicist working around the clock to decode the erratic and unpredictable trajectory of the rogue comet. Joining the veteran cast is a rising star played by Florence Pugh who steps into the role of a brash and fiercely brilliant pilot. She brings a much needed modern tactical edge to the dangerous mission.
