Life is quiet, stable, and completely drama free. However, that tranquility is instantly shattered when a glowing Lillian announces she is pregnant with twins. Helen has reinvented herself and is now an impossibly glamorous, wealthy, and insufferable mindful parenting guru who boasts millions of social media followers. The peaceful gathering spirals into absolute anarchy the moment the rest of the bridal party arrives. Megan makes a less than subtle entrance by arriving with a literal pack of therapy wolves that she recently rescued and insists are completely tame. What follows is a series of wildly escalating, hallucinogenic disasters. The women must rapidly shake off their chemically induced haze, put their petty differences aside, and work together to figure out how to handle the terrifying reality of delivering twins in the wilderness. Packed with the original film&#8217;s trademark cringe comedy, explosive physical gags, and deeply emotional moments, The Baby Shower is a hilarious exploration of the terrors that come with entering the next major stage of adulthood.
