Jake Paul Guarantees Cedric Doumbe Stoppage, Vows Christmas Eve Clash Will Not Go The Distance

Jake Paul announced that his upcoming Christmas Eve clash in Dubai against Cedric Doumbe will end inside the distance, promising to knock out the former kickboxing champion.
The outspoken American prizefighter has built his professional boxing career by taking on established names from across combat sports.
Now, Paul is preparing to step into the ring in the Middle East for another high-stakes showdown.
His latest challenge comes in the form of Cedric Doumbe, a standout striker with extensive world-level experience.
Paul made his intentions abundantly clear during an aggressive callout video shared across social media.
Rather than predicting a tactical battle that tests the judges, the American expects a swift and definitive finish.
"This fight is not going the distance and someone is getting put to sleep in the Middle East and it's not Santa," Paul said.
THE CALLOUT IN DUBAI
Paul delivered his warning directly to the French fighter while looking straight into the camera.
He showed no hesitation in predicting total dominance under traditional boxing rules.
"So Cedric Doumbe, I, Jake Joseph Paul, will knock you out, embarrass you and defeat you on Christmas Eve," Paul declared.
The confident prediction sets a dramatic tone for the holiday event in the United Arab Emirates.
Paul believes his pure boxing development gives him a decisive advantage over an opponent transitioning from other combat disciplines.
In mixed martial arts and kickboxing, fighters rely heavily on varied striking arsenals and wrestling defenses.

Inside a standard boxing ring, those alternative weapons are strictly forbidden.
Paul pointed directly to those rule distinctions when assessing the upcoming matchup.
"But this is my sport," Paul explained in his video message.
"No kicks, no takedowns, and no glass on the floor, we checked," he added.
RESPECTING A DANGEROUS STRIKER
Even while guaranteeing a knockout, Paul acknowledged the legitimate danger his new opponent presents.
Doumbe is widely regarded as one of the most decorated kickboxers of his generation.
The Frenchman reached the pinnacle of kickboxing as a two-time world champion before moving into mixed martial arts.
Doumbe currently competes under the Professional Fighters League banner as a welterweight contender.
Paul admitted that the former world champion is unlike standard opposition.
"This is a dangerous fight," Paul admitted during his callout.
"Cedric has been in there with killers his whole career," the American continued.
"He's a two-time world champion, and he's not scared of anybody, including me, 'The Vanilla Gorilla'," Paul noted.
Doumbe brings renowned striking power and extensive combat pedigree to the anticipated bout.

Paul, however, feels that the confines of standard boxing will completely neutralize that background.
CAREER ON THE LINE
The American fighter has also attached massive personal consequences to the outcome in Dubai.
Paul has promised to walk away from professional boxing entirely if he fails to defeat Doumbe.
A loss on Christmas Eve would bring an abrupt halt to his controversial and highly publicized boxing journey.
"If he wins, I will hang up the gloves and call it a day," Paul stated.
He balanced that retirement ultimatum with another sharp barb aimed at Doumbe's reputation.
"But if he loses, the man who calls himself 'The Best' just got beat up by a YouTuber with a titanium jaw," Paul added.
During the aggressive exchange, Paul even quipped about his own condition, admitting his jaw is janky as he hyped the contest.
Yet his confidence remains unshaken as training camps ramp up for the December date.
DARREN TILL LEFT IN THE COLD
The confirmation of the Doumbe bout closed the door on another potential high-profile matchup.
Former UFC welterweight title challenger Darren Till was actively in discussions to face Paul on Christmas Eve.
Negotiations were taking place before Paul ultimately chose to pivot toward Doumbe instead.

That sudden change left Till without the lucrative boxing crossover he had sought.
Till reacted furiously to the decision, calling Paul a fraud after missing out on the holiday date.
The British star had seemed poised to step into the ring with Paul before the deal collapsed.
Now, Till must watch from the sidelines as Doumbe takes the spotlight in Dubai.
BKFC PROMISES BIG PLANS
Despite missing out on Paul, Till will not remain inactive for long according to his current promotion.
Till is currently competing under the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship banner, where he has already achieved two wins in two fights.
Till originally agreed to a three-fight contract with the bare-knuckle organization.
BKFC president David Feldman revealed that the promotion holds long-term ambitions for the British fighter.
Feldman addressed the situation directly with MMA Fighting following the collapse of the Paul negotiations.
"We have options," Feldman said regarding Till's contractual future.
"I get along very, very well with him," Feldman explained.
"I get along very, very well with his management, but there is a fight or two outside of BKFC that he would like that would be a really, really big payday for him," Feldman acknowledged.
"That’s why we did it as an option," the promoter added.

"But we do have options on his next few fights," Feldman continued.
"There is going to be a longer relationship with BKFC and Darren Till," Feldman confirmed.
HANDLING OUTSIDE OPPORTUNITIES
BKFC has previously allowed its marquee stars to pursue massive paydays in traditional boxing.
The promotion famously permitted bare-knuckle standout Mike Perry to take a boxing match against Paul.
While that bout delayed Perry's schedule inside the BKFC squared circle, Feldman understood the financial magnitude.
Feldman took a similar view when Till explored the possibility of fighting Paul in December.
"It comes to do we have something for Darren Till that makes sense?" Feldman asked.
"Is the timing going to be right?" Feldman added.
"If we have to lay him off for eight, nine months, it’s only fair to let him go out and make a payday because the momentum’s going to be killed anyway if we don’t have a fight for him," Feldman stated.
"But if we have a fight that I think we’re going to have in the next two weeks to announce, then obviously he’s fighting for BKFC," he explained.
"If we don’t then there is an option for him to possibly to fight a Jake Paul or something like that," Feldman noted.
Feldman expressed absolute confidence that Till possessed the skill set to defeat Paul in the ring.
"I think that Darren Till can hang in there with Jake Paul, has a very good chance of beating him as well so I think it could raise his profile a lot and he has a chance to make a lot of money," Feldman remarked.
"But at the same time, we’re not going to cut our nose off to spite our face here at BKFC," the executive stressed.
"If we have something that works for him, he’s going to do that first," Feldman clarified.
NEW OPPONENTS ON THE HORIZON
With the Paul fight off the table for Till, BKFC is readying its own significant announcements.
Feldman promised that major names are lined up for the British slugger very soon.
"We’re going to have some big names for Darren Till in the mix very, very shortly," Feldman said.
"One of them will be part of our announcement we’re going to make in the next couple weeks," the promoter revealed.
Feldman has also teased the ambitious concept of booking a soccer stadium in Liverpool for Till's next appearance.
That direction leaves Paul completely committed to his new opponent in the Middle East.
Paul enters the Doumbe clash following recent high-profile ring appearances, including a chess match against Yoel Romero at BKFC 94.
Now, all eyes shift toward Dubai as Christmas Eve approaches.
Doumbe will look to derail Paul's momentum and secure a massive victory for mixed martial arts competitors.
Paul, meanwhile, is adamant that his boxing journey will not end on the judges' scorecards.
He has guaranteed a finish, promised an embarrassment, and staked his entire professional future on the result.
Do you believe Jake Paul will back up his words and score a knockout against Cedric Doumbe on Christmas Eve?
