James Blunt Reveals Romesh Ranganathan's Shocking Betrayal on Celebrity Traitors

James Blunt has said he thought Romesh Ranganathan 'betrayed' him during the final of The Celebrity Traitors.
After the singer and the comedian reached the final three in the show — alongside actor Sebastian Croft — Ranganathan voted for Blunt to leave, believing him to be a Traitor.
Blunt, 52, was surprised by the move and voted for Ranganathan to be banished himself.
Ultimately, Blunt was banished, with Ranganathan and Croft winning the show.
All three men had been Faithfuls.
The pop star, speaking on BBC Radio 2's The Sara Cox Breakfast Show, said he felt 'betrayed' when the comedian voted for him.
He said: 'I think what I really knew is, I had proven through the time we had been there that I was a Faithful.'
'Everyone knew it.'

'Everyone at the roundtable said he's obviously a Faithful, so when Romesh pulled his card out, I was like, hang on.'
'I think Romesh was being a little underhand.'
'I had to chuck in a final red because he's done something very treacherous there, hasn't he?'
Blunt also spoke on LBC's Nick Ferrari At Breakfast, where he revealed he previously had no interest in doing reality shows.
His manager did not even tell him he'd been asked to take part.
He said: 'My manager never even told me I was being asked to do it.'
'He pushed back on it.'
'My wife walked in one morning and said, I've signed you up to Traitors.'

'I think she thought, time with me out of the house.'
'Send me out to Inverness to be locked away.'
Blunt said the other celebrities are 'lovely people' and he particularly bonded with content creator King Kenny.
Despite the dramatic vote, Blunt insisted there is no bad blood between the pair.
He added: 'It was the perfect finish; I really enjoyed it.'
'Romesh and I are really close, actually; I promise we're really good friends.'
The final drew its highest average overnight audience so far, with 11.2 million viewers tuning in.
The winning pair split the prize money.

Romesh Ranganathan is an actor and comedian best known for his podcast appearances and stand-up routines.
Together with bestie Rob Beckett, he's also a TV show host.
The duo star in Rob & Romesh Vs, a comedic reality series where the besties explore different activities, destinations, and lifestyles across the UK.
In one scene that's gone viral several times since airing earlier this year, Ranganathan and his Goldendoodle, Reggie, attempt to run the agility course at Crufts, the world's largest international dog show.
It went delightfully wrong when Reggie took matters into his own paws during his agility race.
True to his comedic background, Ranganathan took the pup's lead and put on a show.
The commentators described the scene perfectly when they said, 'Reggie continues on his very individual stroll on his very individual performance.'
Commenter @betteroffautistic thought it was perfect how 'the comedian has a comedian dog.'

Whether they're in the spotlight or at home, they're two peas in a pod — that's for sure.
'Crawling on your knees, out of breath, while throwing treats at your dog to get their attention is one of the most relatable dog ownership acts I've ever seen,' agreed @doghair_don'tcare3.
The relatability makes the chaos ten times funnier.
Most American dog shows are limited to purebred dogs.
This isn't to be discriminatory, but because each dog breed has a physical, medical, and behavioral standard that each individual will be judged against.
Poodle mixes, like Goldendoodles, however, aren't purebred.
It wouldn't be fair to include them in the Poodle category.
If they were to create a new category for one mixed breed, they would have to do so for so many other breed mixes, too.
That's not to say that Doodles will never compete at dog shows.
Many other canine events, like the agility competition shown here, are open to dogs of any breed.
