Lehigh Valley sets Veterans Day ceremonies; watch PBS' 'Salute to Service 2026' with Jason Kelce.

More than 40,000 veterans live in the Lehigh Valley today, according to the Lehigh Valley Military Affairs Council.

With Veterans Day falling in the middle of next week, local communities will honor their fallen heroes this weekend.

From Easton to Kutztown, officials, American Legion Posts, school bands and more are set to host ceremonies and concerts.

Philadelphia Eagles legend Jason Kelce hosts award-winning musician Jon Batiste and the U.S. Army Field Band in "Salute to Service 2026: A Veterans Day Celebration."

The 55-minute music-filled special celebrates heroes through songs and stories.

It airs at 6 p.m. Friday on PBS39 and the PBS App.

But Kelce has also been in the news this week for a different reason.

He broke his silence on a Super Bowl-winning coach who was fired by the New Orleans Saints.

That coach is Jeff Stoutland, the former Eagles offensive line coach who helped Philadelphia win two Super Bowls.

Stoutland and the Eagles mutually parted ways before the 2026 NFL season.

The Eagles' offense struggled throughout the 2026 season.

Head coach Nick Sirianni took away Stoutland's run-game coordinator title.

Former offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo struggled with his system.

Reports suggested there was a lot of internal friction building between Stoutland and the coaching staff.

The Eagles ultimately decided to part ways with Patullo.

But Stoutland walked out the door as well.

Earlier this week, 97.5 The Fanatic's Bill Colarulo went viral within the Eagles world.

He reported that it "wasn't only Nick Sirianni who wanted a change in the run game."

"It was also the players," Colarulo said.

That's where Kelce draws the line.

During his weekly appearance on 94WIP, Kelce called out unnamed sources in defense of Stoutland.

"I would take anything you hear from an unnamed source with a giant grain of salt, because ultimately that person isn't willing to stand behind it in front of a camera, and usually that unnamed source has some type of incentive or reason that they're putting this out to a media member, and it's usually to cover their own behind," Kelce said.

"When Jeff Stoutland left, or when Jeff Stoutland was announced he wasn't coming back, Jordan Mailata and his wife went to have dinner at his home and honor that man."

"When Lane Johnson retired, he only met with one coach."

"Met with Jeff Stoutland."

"I take great offense to somebody alluding to players not fighting really hard for Jeff, and I don't know the way the last season went because I wasn't there."

"I know it wasn't great, but that one very much upset me because the reason to move on from Jeff Stoutland had nothing to do with the players."

"Had to do with the building wanting to go in a different direction."

"That's fine, but don't give me this crap like trying to defer direction on the decisions you guys wanted to make."

"That's all I'll say."

The Eagles are a franchise with a proud history.

They won their first Super Bowl in the 2017 season, defeating the New England Patriots 41-33.

They won their second Super Bowl in the 2022 season, defeating the Kansas City Chiefs 38-35.

Stoutland was on the coaching staff for both championships.

He is widely regarded as one of the best offensive line coaches in the NFL.

Many former and current Eagles players have credited him with their development.

Kelce played his entire 13-year career under Stoutland.

He retired after the 2023 season.

He now co-hosts the "New Heights" podcast with his brother, Travis Kelce.
