Luke Bryan and Megan Moroney to Headline Coastal Country Jam 2027

Luke Bryan and Megan Moroney will headline the 2027 Coastal Country Jam.
The festival returns to Huntington Beach, California, on May 22 and 23.
Activated Events, the independent live event company behind the festival, made the announcement.
The event moved to Long Beach in 2023.
Now it is going back to the beachside city where it first launched.
“We’ve been working for the last couple of years to bring Coastal Country Jam back to where it all started, and it feels good to be returning to Huntington Beach with Luke Bryan and Megan Moroney,” said Steve Thacher, Founder and CEO of Activated Events.
“We really enjoyed our time in Long Beach, and we’re grateful to everyone who joined us there.”
“We’re back, and we can’t wait to see everyone on the sand.”
Luke Bryan will close out the first night on Saturday, May 22.
He will follow performances from Thomas Rhett, Josh Ross, Ashley Cooke, Myles Morgan, Joe Peters and one act still to be announced.
Megan Moroney headlines the second night on Sunday, May 23.
Her night also features Parker McCollum, Avery Anna, Corey Kent, John Morgan, Colin Lynch and Presley Tennant.
The two-day festival offers more than music.
On-site experiences include The Belt Buckle Line Dancing Hall.
There is The Smoke Show BBQ pitmaster cooking demos.
Pour Decisions mixology bar and Rosé Rodeo wine bar are on site.
On The Wagon mocktail bar and Tailgate Tavern sports bar are also available.
Fans can compete in a cornhole tournament or ride the mechanical bull.
Tickets go on sale in two stages.
Fans can register now at coastalcountryjam.com for presale access.
The presale begins November 12 at 10 a.m. PT.
The general onsale begins November 13 at 10 a.m. PT.
Single-day and two-day passes are available.
Coastal Country Jam started in Huntington Beach before moving to Long Beach for two years.
The return to the original location is a deliberate move by Activated Events.

Thacher said the company had been working for years to bring the festival back.
The festival is known for its beachside setting along the California coastline.
It draws a mix of country music fans from Southern California and beyond.
Luke Bryan is one of the biggest names in modern country music.
He has scored multiple number-one hits and headlined major festivals across the country.
His 2026 Farm Tour, which ended in September, awarded 97 college scholarships and helped provide more than 11 million meals through a partnership with Bayer.
Megan Moroney has risen quickly in the country scene.
She has built a strong following with her debut album and hit singles.
Pairing Bryan and Moroney as co-headliners gives the festival two distinct draws across its two nights.
The lineup also includes Thomas Rhett, another arena-level headliner in his own right.
Parker McCollum adds further star power to the second day.
The rest of the lineup mixes rising acts and established names.
Josh Ross, Ashley Cooke, Corey Kent and Avery Anna are among the younger artists on the bill.
Myles Morgan, Joe Peters, John Morgan, Colin Lynch and Presley Tennant round out the roster.
One slot on the first night remains open, with an act to be announced later.
The festival’s return to Huntington Beach comes after a period of adjustment for live events in California.
Many outdoor festivals faced permitting challenges and rising costs in recent years.
Coastal Country Jam’s move to Long Beach in 2023 was part of that shifting landscape.
Now the festival is betting that its original home still works as a destination for country music fans.
The beach setting is a key part of the festival’s identity.
Most country festivals take place in fields or fairgrounds inland.
Coastal Country Jam offers a rare combination of sand, surf and country music.
That contrast has helped the festival stand out in a crowded market.
The on-site attractions are designed to keep fans entertained between sets.
The Belt Buckle Line Dancing Hall gives attendees a place to dance outside the main stages.

The Smoke Show BBQ pitmaster demos appeal to food-focused fans.
Pour Decisions and Rosé Rodeo offer curated drink experiences.
On The Wagon provides non-alcoholic options for designated drivers and sober attendees.
Tailgate Tavern recreates a sports-bar atmosphere on the sand.
Cornhole tournaments and mechanical bull riding add interactive elements.
These extras help the festival feel like a full weekend experience rather than just a concert.
Tickets are expected to sell quickly given the strength of the lineup.
The presale registration window gives dedicated fans a chance to secure passes before the general public.
Activated Events has not announced capacity limits or pricing tiers yet.
Those details will likely come when the presale opens.
The festival has not yet revealed which act will fill the open slot on the first night.
That announcement could come in the weeks leading up to the event.
Fans are already speculating about possible additions on social media.
The return to Huntington Beach also carries logistical implications.
The city has strict noise and crowd regulations for beach events.
Activated Events will need to coordinate with local authorities on permits and security.
The festival’s previous run in Huntington Beach established a working relationship with the city.
That history may smooth the approval process.
Long Beach served the festival well for two years, according to Thacher.
But the pull of the original location proved strong enough to bring the event back.
For fans, the return means a chance to experience the festival in its intended setting.
The beachfront stage setup allows for views of the ocean behind the performers.
That visual is a major part of the festival’s marketing and appeal.
Luke Bryan’s closing set on the first night will likely draw one of the largest crowds of the weekend.
He is known for high-energy performances that mix party anthems with emotional ballads.

His hit “Drink A Beer,” written by Chris Stapleton and Jim Beavers, showed a deeper side of his artistry.
Bryan has called it his “best top bottom song ever.”
Megan Moroney’s headlining set on the second night will be a milestone in her career.
She has been building momentum with each release.
Closing a major festival in Southern California signals her arrival as a headliner.
The festival runs from May 22 to May 23, 2027.
That timing places it in late spring, before the peak summer concert season.
The weather in Huntington Beach in late May is typically mild and sunny.
That makes it an ideal window for an outdoor beach festival.
Fans who want to attend should register for presale access as soon as possible.
The presale window opens November 12.
General ticket sales start November 13.
Both dates are in 2026, more than six months before the festival.
That lead time gives fans plenty of opportunity to plan travel and accommodations.
Huntington Beach offers a range of hotels, campgrounds and vacation rentals near the beach.
The festival site is within walking distance of many lodging options.
Parking and shuttle services are typically arranged closer to the event date.
Activated Events has not released specific transportation details yet.
Those will likely be announced in early 2027.
The festival’s return has generated excitement among country fans in Southern California.
Social media posts about the announcement have drawn thousands of reactions.
Many fans expressed relief that the festival is coming back to the beach.
Others are focused on the lineup itself, debating which night has the stronger bill.
The debate reflects the strength of both headliners and their supporting acts.
Coastal Country Jam 2027 is shaping up to be one of the biggest country events on the West Coast next year.
The combination of a proven location, a star-studded lineup and unique beachside atmosphere gives it a strong draw.
Tickets go on sale in November, and the festival takes place the following May.
For now, fans can register for presale access and start planning their weekend on the sand.
