Prince Harry and Meghan Scout Future Homes Abroad During UK Visit

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are traveling to ‘cities where they could build a future’ amid their return to the UK.
That is according to a source who spoke to journalist Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice Substack.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will visit Brussels, Belgium, on Tuesday, November 10, to open the Lost Screen Memorial.
But the source says their international charity trips are about more than the causes they support.
“These trips give Harry, 42, and Meghan, 45, a chance to see how they are received and identify cities where they could build a future,” the source said.
The report was published on Thursday, November 5.
The couple and their two children — Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5 — have been staying with a wealthy businessman friend in the Cotswolds since their return to the UK.
The Daily Mail reported earlier this week that they are house guests, not homeowners.
“They need a place that wants them as much as they want to be there,” Shuter’s source said.

“They are looking for connections, opportunities and a community where they can feel at home.”
Harry and Meghan’s outing to Brussels marks their first joint trip abroad since they moved back to the UK in August.
As Star previously reported, the Spare author and the former Suits actress have reportedly been hoping to make a purchase on a new home.
However, an insider previously claimed in Shuter’s Substack that “their house hunt has effectively stalled.”
“They haven’t found anything they both love that they can realistically afford,” the insider added.
According to the Naughty But Nice report, the pair had their eyes on the Cotswolds region and a property that costs approximately £10 million — more than $13 million.
“They have champagne tastes, but the bank balance isn’t matching the ambition,” said a source.
This is not the only development in the Sussex household this week.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have also bid farewell to one of their longest-standing staff members.

Chanel Pysnik has left her Archewell Productions role as Head of Nonfiction, Film & TV after five and a half years.
She first joined the couple in May 2021.
Pysnik is best known as the executive producer on the couple’s 2022 documentary, Harry & Meghan, as well as Meghan’s cooking and lifestyle show, With Love, Meghan.
She also worked on projects including Polo, Heart of Invictus, Masaka Kids, and Cookie Queens.
As first reported by Deadline, no immediate replacement has been announced.
In a joint statement, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex thanked her for creating “beautiful stories” and wished her the best in her “next chapter.”
They said: “Chanel was one of our very first hires at Archewell Productions and spearheaded the strategic framework for our unscripted endeavors.”
“She brought not only her expertise into the process but also led with her heart in telling beautiful stories.”
“Many successful productions later, her impact and legacy at Archewell is to be celebrated.”

“We are both championing her as she embarks on this next chapter.”
Archewell is based in California, despite the Sussexes’ move back to the UK in August.
Following the end of their exclusive five-year deal with Netflix, which began in 2020, Harry and Meghan now have a “first-look deal,” giving them priority access to any projects.
In a statement following her departure, Pysnik said: “It has been an honor to build Archewell Productions alongside Harry and Meghan for nearly six years.”
“Together, we have produced work that has broken records, earned awards and screened at prestigious film festivals, while reaching audiences around the world and contributing to important cultural conversations.”
“I am incredibly proud of what we have accomplished, both creatively and commercially, and of the company we have built.”
“I am grateful to Harry and Meghan for their trust and the opportunity to lead Archewell Productions through such a defining period.”
She has not yet revealed her next steps.
Meghan, meanwhile, is set to make a return on camera as a guest co-host on Junior MasterChef Australia.

Harry and Meghan’s joint visit to Brussels was revealed on Wednesday.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will deliver a joint keynote address at the opening of the Lost Screen Memorial in the European Parliament on Tuesday.
This is Prince Harry’s first appearance in the UK since the Thomas Markle scandal broke.
Thomas Markle, Meghan’s father, was embroiled in a child pornography scandal that has drawn significant media attention.
The scandal has raised questions about how it could impact Harry and Meghan’s fight for UK security.
Page Six reported exclusively on the potential implications of the Thomas Markle scandal for the couple’s security battle.
Harry has been in a legal fight with the UK Home Office over his security arrangements when he visits the country.
The Thomas Markle scandal added a new layer of complexity to that fight.
Meanwhile, royal watchers have been watching for any sign of a reunion between Prince Harry and Prince William.

In a “rare” show of unity, the two brothers both offered their support to The Diana Award, an annual honor highlighting young people who are instigating change in the world.
For 2026, Harry and William “wrote special letters of congratulations to those being honored by the charity set up in their late mother’s name,” People reported.
In spite of any personal disagreements the brothers may have had, they “remain united in their support for their mother’s legacy,” the outlet noted.
Although William and Harry didn’t appear anywhere together, they both decided to write personal “separate letters to each of the 198 winners from 44 countries recognized for their commitment to creating ‘positive change in their communities and beyond,’” the charity revealed.
People called the action a “rare shared moment” between the royal brothers.
The Diana Award’s chief executive, Dr. Tessy Ojo CBE, celebrated the recipients of this year’s honors.
“Their courage, compassion, and determination to tackle some of the world’s most pressing challenges are a powerful reminder that young people are the changemakers of today,” Ojo said.
Ojo continued: “These young people are proof that, whatever their background or circumstances, the desire to make a difference is universal.”
“They are building on Diana, Princess of Wales’s legacy almost 30 years on.”
It seems as though, in spite of their personal lives, William and Harry remain focused on protecting their late mother’s legacy.
What remains unclear is where Harry and Meghan will ultimately settle.
The source’s comments suggest the couple is keeping their options open — possibly beyond the UK.
Brussels is just the first stop.
Whether the couple finds a city that meets their needs — and their budget — remains to be seen.
