Roy Keane's blunt response to replacing Carrick at Man Utd.

Didier Deschamps has told Manchester United he has no interest in becoming their next manager.
It is understood United bosses sounded out the former France manager about replacing Michael Carrick at Old Trafford.
Carrick is fighting to save his job after picking up just one win from their opening nine Premier League matches.
Deschamps was viewed as having the winning credentials and experience to take on the challenge of restoring United to former glories.
He also appealed to United because he is available for nothing.
But Deschamps, who led France to World Cup glory in 2018, has no desire to take on the poisoned chalice that is managing United.
Deschamps stood down as France boss following the summer's World Cup and is taking a break from the game before weighing up his next options.

The 58-year-old hasn't been a club manager since leaving Marseille in 2012 and will continue to assess his options before taking on his next role.
United's owners are also interested in appointing Unai Emery.
But the Spaniard, who takes Aston Villa to Old Trafford on Sunday, is said to be close to agreeing a new and improved deal to remain at Villa Park instead.
Julian Nagelsmann has also been on United's radar but has little desire to talk to the fallen giants.
Eddie Howe remains a leading contender to replace Carrick, should he be sacked during the international break.
Many expected Carrick to be axed before the fortnight break, with United putting together a winless run stretching to nine games in all competitions.
That run looked certain to be extended when Roma opened up a 2-0 lead in front of an increasingly toxic Old Trafford home crowd.
But United completed a stirring comeback, with Matheus Cunha scoring a dramatic late brace to ease some pressure on his manager.
Speaking after their win in the Champions League, Carrick said: "I don't have a crystal ball to know what happens next. We move on to the weekend. We've got a really important game here against Aston Villa, which we need to prepare for right."
Bruno Fernandes also addressed the situation after the Roma match.
The United captain scored their first goal with a twice-taken penalty as they came from 2-0 down to beat Roma 3-2 and record their first victory in 10 matches.
After their previous Champions League game, a 4-1 thrashing by Como, Fernandes had blamed Carrick for United's lack of pressing in a post-match interview.
Carrick responded by leaving him as an unused substitute for their next match, a 3-0 loss to Bournemouth.
Fernandes addressed the issue in another fiery post-match interview following the Roma comeback.

Speaking to Amazon Prime Video, he said: "The manager took a decision of making myself be on the bench because I wasn't performing, and that's fair."
"Everyone felt that was a punishment for the words that I had said. And if it was, it was right. The manager is the one that makes the decisions. I have to accept them. I have to go forward with that."
"It doesn't change the belief I have on the manager and on the staff and every player that is in this club, and it doesn't change my aim to win every f***ing game that I have ahead of me."
Fernandes and Carrick subsequently held talks before the Portuguese was brought back into the team on Saturday against Chelsea.
As he got increasingly passionate, Fernandes added: "It's been tough. It's been a lot of speculation in the media, a lot of lies around many things that have happened in this club between me and the manager, like that we had cleared the air then after when nothing of that happened."
Carrick has been under pressure as United have only taken seven points in the Premier League this season and had lost their three previous matches in all competitions.
Fernandes said: "We don't need to save anyone's job. But it was important. The club needed that win, the fans needed that win."

The victory over Roma only temporarily quieted the noise around Carrick's future.
United's next match is against Aston Villa at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Emery, the Villa manager, is one of the men United's owners have considered as Carrick's replacement.
But Emery is said to be close to signing a new contract with Villa, which would take him off the market.
Nagelsmann, the former Bayern Munich and Germany coach, has also been on United's radar but has little desire to talk to the fallen giants, according to reports.
Howe remains a leading contender to replace Carrick, should he be sacked during the international break.
The international break after the Villa match could be the moment United's board decides to pull the trigger.

Deschamps' rejection is the most emphatic of all.
He made it clear he views the Manchester United job as a poisoned chalice, a role that has damaged the reputation of every manager who has taken it since Sir Alex Ferguson retired.
David Moyes, Louis van Gaal, Jose Mourinho, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and now Carrick — none have been able to restore United to their former dominance.
Deschamps, 58, led France to the 2018 World Cup title and the 2022 World Cup final.
He stepped down after the 2026 World Cup this summer and has said he wants time to consider his next move.
He has not managed a club since leaving Marseille in 2012.
United's search for a long-term manager continues, with the club's hierarchy working behind the scenes even as Carrick tries to steady the ship.
The win over Roma bought Carrick time, but the board's actions suggest they are preparing for a change.
The question now is whether Carrick can survive the Villa match and the international break.
If he does not, United will have to turn to one of the candidates who have already said no — or find someone new.
