TMZ roasted for creepy article on Ella Langley’s peach.

TMZ is facing a wave of backlash after publishing an article that zoomed in on country singer Ella Langley’s backside from a vacation photo she shared in April 2025.
The celebrity gossip outlet posted the cropped image with the headline, “Guess The Country Singer Flashing Her Peach.”
The original photo was a snowy bikini shot Langley took during a trip to Banff, Canada, months before she released her chart-topping hit “Choosin’ Texas.”
TMZ did not repost the full photo.
Instead, the outlet cropped the image to focus solely on Langley’s rear end before sharing it on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.
The post has since racked up more than 2.2 million views.
It has also drawn nearly 200 replies, many of which are calling out TMZ for what users describe as a “creepy” and “exploitative” choice of content.
One user wrote that the post felt “beyond creepy.”
Another asked why TMZ would dig up an old vacation photo and crop it that way.
Some users played along with the guessing game, naming outlandish country stars as a joke.
But the dominant tone of the replies has been criticism, not amusement.

This is not the first time Langley’s backside has drawn public attention.
When she originally posted the vacation photo in April 2025, Bunnie XO — Jelly Roll’s ex-wife — commented on the image, writing, “I had no idea Ella was caked up like this.”
That comment helped the original post make the rounds at the time.
But TMZ’s decision to revisit the image nearly a year and a half later, and to crop it into a guessing game, has struck many as a step too far.
The format itself is not new.
Barstool Sports previously ran a segment called “GTA,” which stood for “Guess That A**.”
That segment involved posting celebrities’ and models’ backsides and asking audiences to identify them.
Barstool later faced legal issues after posting unauthorized paparazzi photos.
Critics have pointed out the similarity between that segment and TMZ’s post, noting that the legal risks may be similar.
Langley has not publicly commented on the TMZ post as of this writing.
She is currently preparing for a major performance at the 2026 CMA Awards, where she is set to take the stage alongside Kacey Musgraves and other country stars.

Her rising profile has brought increased media attention, both to her music and to her personal life.
Recent headlines have covered everything from romance rumors with Tucker Wetmore to jokes from Lainey Wilson’s husband about setting friends up with Langley.
But the TMZ post has shifted the conversation from her career to questions about media ethics.
The incident has reignited debates about how outlets cover female celebrities, particularly when they repurpose old personal photos without context.
Some commentators have noted that the post reduces Langley to a body part at a moment when she is achieving the highest visibility of her career.
Others have pointed out that the guessing-game format invites audiences to participate in the objectification.
Whether TMZ will face any formal consequences — legal or professional — remains unclear.
But the social media response has been loud enough to make the story itself a headline.
Country Chord, which first reported the backlash, described the post as “beyond creepy.”
The outlet noted that even Langley’s most dedicated fans were taken aback by the decision to zoom in on the image.
For now, the post remains live on TMZ’s X account.
The question hanging over the story is whether this kind of content will continue to be treated as harmless fun — or whether the backlash will push outlets to reconsider how they cover rising stars.
