Tori Spelling and Brian Austin Green Reunite for Vertical Thriller

Tori Spelling and Brian Austin Green have reunited for a scripted thriller microseries on vertTV.
The two Beverly Hills, 90210 stars, who played on-and-off couple Donna Martin and David Silver, just wrapped production on the untitled project.
Filming concluded Wednesday in Los Angeles.
This is the first vertical microseries for both Spelling and Green.
Carol Potter, who played Cindy Walsh on the original series, also appears in the cast.
vertTV, the Los Angeles-based microdrama studio, is producing the project.
The studio was launched by Hollywood veterans Jeffrey Schenck, Barry Barnholtz and Peter Sullivan.
No plot details have been released.
The microdrama does not yet have a title or a release date.
All those details are being kept under wraps, according to vertTV.

The microdrama was written and directed by Theo Buckwald.
Producers include Barnholtz, Sullivan, Ben Rosenthal, Brian Nolan and Schenck.
vertTV launched in July 2026.
The studio has produced over 200 TV movies for Lifetime and Hallmark in the past.
Now it is betting on bite-sized dramas designed for mobile phone audiences.
Its existing slate includes Lone Star Hearts, starring Cindy Busby and Josh Henderson.
Other vertTV microdramas include the romance Finding Hope, which features Fuller House alums Jodie Sweetin, John Brotherton and Marla Sokoloff.
Another is Chonda, a vertical fish-out-of-water comedy starring Chonda Pierce and Regan Burns.
The production of microdramas in North America and elsewhere is booming.
At the same time, spending on traditional content for linear TV and streaming platforms in Hollywood is in decline.

vertTV also launched with a standalone mobile app for iOS and Android devices.
The app serves as a key destination for the studio’s original slate.
The booming verticals sector has been inundated with AI-generated titles.
vertTV has stated that it shoots vertical series with real actors on real sets and without the use of generative AI.
Spelling, Green and Potter previously reunited in 2019 for the one-season project BH90210.
In that show, they played fictionalized versions of themselves as the original 90210 cast tried to reboot the teen drama two decades after it went off the air.
Spelling and Green starred on 90210 for all 10 seasons, from 1990 to 2000.
Their characters began dating in season 2.
In true dramatic television fashion, they went on to have an on-and-off roller-coaster relationship.
That relationship culminated with a wedding in the final season.

Behind the scenes, the two had a secret fling during the show’s early run.
Spelling revealed this in 2024 on her Misspelling podcast.
“I was young, and I was caught up in it,” Spelling said.
“I love his fiancée [Sharna Burgess], it’s not that. But if he says something to me, I get so flustered and riled up, and it takes me right back to being my 18-year-old self.”
The two revisited the relationship in a later episode of Spelling’s podcast.
Green could not remember an important moment: the first time the couple had sex.
“I feel like such a stupid girl right now,” confessed Spelling, who recalled it happening at Disneyland after a cast appearance.
“Wasn’t it at Shannen’s house?” Green asked.
In another conversation on his Oldish podcast, the two spoke about their 18-year estrangement after 90210 ended.
Separately, Green has been in the news recently for personal reasons.

Green and his fiancée, Dancing With the Stars professional Sharna Burgess, have sparked breakup speculation.
Fans noticed that Burgess has not worn her engagement ring in recent weeks.
The couple got engaged in 2023.
They have yet to address the rumors.
According to the Daily Mail, the rumors started circulating after a Reddit post.
A user pointed out that Burgess had not worn the ring for several social media videos around DWTS.
The 41-year-old dancer was last seen wearing the diamond ring in a video posted on September 28.
The Reddit post, titled “No bling for Sharna,” read: “I’m nosey AF and noticed last week that Sharna wasn’t wearing her engagement ring anymore.”
The user continued, “I thought ‘oh it’s just cause she was dancing’ which got me intrigued and I went back in her videos so you don’t have to!”
They added, “30 September was the last day she posted a video with her ring on. I wonder if BAG’s foolishness has finally got to her!? Sad either way, but she could do so much better without him!”

The post prompted mixed reactions from Reddit users.
While some speculated whether the absence of the ring pointed to something larger, others warned against jumping to conclusions.
One Reddit user responded, “It could literally be anything.. like it needed to be resized, it’s getting cleaned, she just didn’t feel like wearing it. It doesn’t have to mean anything.”
Another commenter pointed out that they did not wear their own wedding ring regularly.
They said, “I forget to wear my rings like 75% of the time cause I don’t sleep in them so it could be that.”
They also added, “My friend also had her ring adjusted and it was at the jeweler for like a month before she got it back.”
Green, 53, and Burgess began dating in October 2020.
Green proposed in July 2023.
The couple welcomed their son, Zane, in June 2022.
For now, the focus for Spelling and Green remains on their professional reunion.
The vertical thriller microseries represents a new chapter for both actors.
It also represents a bet on a new format that is gaining traction with mobile audiences.
Whether the project will revive the old onscreen chemistry for a new generation remains to be seen.
But the cast and studio are keeping the story itself a closely guarded secret.
