Dean Norris lists $3.2M home as divorce and $1.8M debt pile up

‘Breaking Bad’ Star Dean Norris Lists $3.2M Estate Amid Divorce and Restaurant’s $1.8M Debt
Dean Norris, best known for playing DEA agent Hank Schrader on Breaking Bad, has listed his California estate for $3,199,267.
The 11.37-acre property in the hills above Temecula Valley went on the market on September 10, 2026.
TMZ reported the listing on November 5, 2026, when it remained publicly advertised for sale.
The listing comes as the 63-year-old actor faces a divorce filing from his wife of more than 23 years and a bankruptcy case tied to their restaurant business.
Bridget Norris filed for divorce in Riverside County on February 14, 2025, citing irreconcilable differences, according to court documents reviewed by Page Six.
Her petition identified January 15, 2025, as their separation date.
The couple married on October 27, 2001.
They share five children, two of whom are minors.
Bridget requested joint legal and physical custody of those children, spousal support and a court determination of their rights to property acquired during the marriage.

Dean Norris responded to the petition in May 2025, according to Page Six.
The divorce was still pending as of the reports published in early November 2026.
The couple has not publicly addressed their split or financial difficulties.
Us Weekly reached out for comment and received no response.
THE PROPERTY
The Norrises purchased the home in June 2014 for $1,725,000.
Built in 1983, the estate offers 7,315 square feet of living space across the main residence and a guesthouse, according to Redfin.
There are nine bedrooms in total.
The main house contains seven bedrooms, with six on the main level and a spiral staircase leading to an upstairs bedroom with its own balcony.
The kitchen includes three ovens, an eight-burner range and a walk-in pantry.

The two-bedroom guesthouse has a full kitchen, family room, laundry room and a two-car garage.
The property's MLS record lists seven full bathrooms and two half-bathrooms.
Outside features include an infinity-edge pool, spa and an outdoor kitchen.
A four-stall barn, two paddocks, an orchard, garden beds and chicken coops occupy the grounds.
The property has six garage spaces altogether.
Sherrie Snyder of Allison James Estates & Homes is handling the listing.
THE RESTAURANT BANKRUPTCY
The company operating the couple's Swing Inn Cafe, Main Street Eeeatary LLC, separately filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on September 25, 2026.
The restaurant is a historic Old Town Temecula institution whose history stretches back to 1927.
Originally known as Mother's Cafe, it had spent generations serving breakfast and lunch to locals, tourists and visitors exploring Temecula's wine country.

Dean Norris was already a longtime customer when he learned the owners were considering selling.
Rather than let the property fall into the hands of developers who might demolish or dramatically alter the historic building, he decided to buy it himself.
The couple purchased the Swing Inn Cafe in 2022 as part of a $6 million real estate investment.
The acquisition included the restaurant's real estate at 28676 Old Town Front Street, a neighboring commercial building and two parking lots.
In a 2023 interview, Norris explained that he wanted to preserve the landmark for another century, even as he introduced new menu items and expanded its hours.
His biggest change was adding Texas-style barbecue to a restaurant that had traditionally served breakfast and lunch.
The restaurant company's financial documents list approximately $147,810 in assets and $1.81 million in liabilities.
According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly, Dean Norris alleged the eatery experienced a decline in revenue from 2024 to 2025.
The documents state the business had only approximately $100,000 to $500,000 in assets but between $1 million and $10 million in liabilities.
Chapter 11 bankruptcy allows a business to reorganize its debts while continuing operations.

The case is ongoing.
DEAN NORRIS' CAREER
For more than two decades, Dean Norris has been one of Hollywood's most recognizable character actors.
His film credits include appearances in Hard to Kill, Total Recall, Terminator 2, The Firm, Money Train, Gattaca and Starship Troopers.
He also has dozens of TV credits on essentially every show that has existed since the early 1980s.
But Norris will forever be best known for playing DEA agent Hank Schrader on Breaking Bad.
He appeared in 51 of the show's 61 episodes between 2008 and 2013.
Norris has continued acting since Breaking Bad, including a standout role in 2025's The Parenting opposite Lisa Kudrow and Parker Posey.
In a March 2025 interview with Us Weekly, Norris said of keeping in touch with his former Breaking Bad costars: "Oh yeah, email and text, chat lines and we don't bother each other too much. But yeah, we talk a lot."
Of bonding with The Parenting cast, he told Us: "Oh, it was like we had movie nights and game nights, and we would cook out together and all this kind of stuff. It was great. It was like one of the best off-set casts, off-set fun I've had with a cast."

He called Lisa Kudrow "a comic genius" and said they met "literally the first day I arrived."
Norris has often kept his family life private despite his Hollywood career.
In a 2010 interview with USA Today, he said: "I never had a month or so go by where I haven't had a job, but you always worry that someone will turn off the tap."
"The way I look at it, I'm a guy who acts to live. You can always have a job if you can play shoot-'em-up stuff. If playing cops pays the bills, that's what I need to do to support my family."
WHAT COMES NEXT
The divorce case remains unresolved in Riverside County court.
The bankruptcy proceedings for Main Street Eeeatary LLC are ongoing.
The $3.2 million estate is still listed for sale.
Whether the proceeds from the sale will be used to address the restaurant's debt or divided as part of the divorce settlement has not been publicly disclosed.
Neither Dean nor Bridget Norris has made any public statement about the listing, the divorce or the bankruptcy.
