Valkyries mock Angel Reese with pacifier taunt at parade

The Golden State Valkyries made sure Angel Reese's Game 3 taunt didn't get forgotten.
During the team's WNBA championship parade Wednesday in San Francisco, former Golden State Warriors center Festus Ezeli was spotted on one of the floats holding up a custom T-shirt.
The shirt depicted Reese doing her trademark "too small" gesture — the one she directed at the Valkyries' bench after a blowout win in Game 3 of the WNBA Finals.
But instead of Reese's face, the shirt used the iconic crying Michael Jordan meme.
Video of the moment spread quickly across X and TikTok, racking up hundreds of thousands of views.
Ezeli, who won an NBA championship with the Warriors in 2015 and now works as an analyst for NBC Sports Bay Area, was not the only person trolling Reese at the parade.

Fans handed out printed flyers featuring the same crying Jordan meme superimposed onto Reese's head while she made the "too small" gesture.
The flyers carried the caption: "If found, return to ATL."
Another fan posted a photo of a custom T-shirt with Reese's hand making the taunt and the words "Two Small Years" — a jab at the Atlanta Dream, who have been in the league since 2008 without a title, while the Valkyries won their first championship in just their second season.
The trolling marked the latest chapter in a rivalry that defined the 2026 WNBA Finals.
Reese, who came to Atlanta through a blockbuster trade from Chicago, averaged 14 points and 12 rebounds on 40 percent shooting from the field and 37 percent from 3-point range throughout the series.
She led the Dream in rebounding and was third in scoring.

In Game 3, after a 97-71 win that gave Atlanta a 2-1 series lead, Reese directed the "too small" gesture toward the Valkyries' bench, specifically at center Aminata Gueye.
Reese also appeared to call Gueye a "bum" after the play.
The gesture became a rallying cry for Golden State.
Ten days later, the Valkyries won the championship on their home floor at the Chase Center, defeating the Dream in seven games.
Valkyries forward Gabby Williams was the hero of Game 7, scoring 30 points and averaging 19 points per game on 32 percent shooting for the series.
After the series ended, Warriors rookie Yaxel Lendeborg clapped back at Reese by doing the same "too small" gesture right after Game 7.

Now, Valkyries players and fans have continued the mockery into the championship celebration.
Reese has not publicly responded to the parade trolling.
She has already announced plans to put her podcast on hold and restrict her social media videos to vlogs while she focuses on training for the 2027 season.
Reese ended the 2026 season with All-WNBA, All-Star and Defensive Player of the Year honors.
The Valkyries' WNBA title in their second season is the fastest expansion-team championship in league history, beating the Seattle Storm's fifth-year turnaround in 2004.
For Golden State fans, sending shots at Reese was the icing on the cake of a historic season.
It remains to be seen whether the Dream can return to the Finals in 2027 — and whether the rivalry with the Valkyries will produce another chapter.
