Enzo Amore Spotted Backstage at WWE NXT, Return Looming

Potentially returning star Enzo Amore reportedly visited backstage at WWE NXT.
According to Fightful Select, Amore was at the WWE Performance Center on Wednesday, November 4, prior to that night's episode of NXT.
He was not alone.
TNA Wrestling star Joe Alonzo was also visiting the facility that evening, per the same report.
Fightful could not confirm that Amore had signed a contract with WWE.
The outlet noted that Amore and Alonzo were merely visiting.
Still, his presence at the tapings sends a strong signal that Amore could be back in the WWE fold.
This is not the first time Amore has been linked to a WWE return in 2026.
Earlier this year, he was spotted at the Performance Center, and speculation ran hot.
That return never materialized.
But the rumors never fully died.
A separate report from Wrestling Headlines indicated that multiple individuals within WWE believe Amore is on his way back to the promotion.
WWE has not officially confirmed his return.
There has been no public announcement regarding a new contract or potential television appearance.
Previous reporting suggested that Amore would be returning to WWE as part of the NXT brand, not the main roster.

That information was surprising to some, given his previous tag team with Big Cass.
Cass himself returned to WWE from AEW earlier this year.
He is currently wrestling on Raw as an ally to new WWE Intercontinental Champion Ethan Page.
A reunion between the former tag team partners has not materialized.
But there has reportedly been continued interest in bringing Amore back.
Amore's name has reportedly been discussed internally within WWE for several months.
Initial conversations about a potential comeback emerged in connection with Big Cass' return.
WWE may not have been Amore's only option.
Sources within AEW told Fightful earlier this year that Amore had "tested the waters" about potentially joining them.
It is unclear whether AEW had any interest in signing Amore.
It is also unclear if the two sides had any significant talks.
Amore raised eyebrows earlier this year when a video featuring him and Maven Huffman saw him be highly critical of AEW.
It was later revealed the video had been filmed a year before it was posted.
Amore was highly complimentary of the promotion for their handling of the death of his friend PAC.
During his previous WWE run, Amore became a recognizable personality through his partnership with Big Cass.

The duo established themselves as a popular act in NXT before moving to the main roster.
Amore later competed in WWE's cruiserweight division.
He captured the Cruiserweight Championship during that run.
Amore has not appeared on American wrestling television at all in 2026.
Despite that, he has often been in the news.
The November 4 episode of NXT moved from its usual Tuesday slot because of midterm election coverage.
It aired on The CW.
Fightful Select broke the news of Amore and Alonzo's presence backstage.
"Enzo Amore and TNA wrestler Joe Alonzo were both at the WWE Performance Center visiting for last night's NXT, @FightfulSelect has learned," the outlet posted on social media.
"We spoke to AEW sources earlier this year that noted that Enzo had tested the waters there as well."
For now, it remains unclear whether Amore will return to WWE programming.
It is also unclear whether he might reunite with Big Cass.
Or whether he will pursue another opportunity outside the company.
A backstage visit does not necessarily mean a deal has been finalized.
But it is the latest indication that a potential return remains under discussion.
And the speculation is only growing.
