Prince Harry made a surprise appearance in London on November 5, 2026, attending the Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards.

He delivered a keynote address at the event, speaking about his environmental tourism initiative, Travalyst.

“I founded Travalyst in 2019 because I believe that an industry built on extraordinary places of our world has both a responsibility and a business imperative to protect it,” Harry said, according to People.

The Duke of Sussex, 42, was in New York City just days earlier, staying at the Lotte New York Palace hotel.

A spokesperson for the prince confirmed the New York trip was for business.

“The Duke had a number of meetings in New York focused on new business opportunities and partnerships,” the spokesperson told People.

“Further details will be shared in due course,” they added.

Harry’s latest travel schedule comes amid a flurry of activity for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

On November 10, Harry is slated to fly to Belgium with his wife, Meghan Markle, for a meaningful trip.

The couple will attend the opening of a Lost Screen Memorial in Brussels.

The memorial commemorates children who have lost their lives due to the harmful effects of social media.

Digital safety, particularly for children, is a cause close to both Meghan and Harry’s hearts.

They have partnered with affected families through their Archewell Foundation Parents’ Network.

Meghan embarked on a similar endeavor in Geneva, Switzerland in May.

The news of the Belgium trip comes as the couple is expected to spend Christmas in the United Kingdom.

Originally, Harry and Meghan were thought to be flying back to the U.S. to spend Christmas with Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland.

According to Hello!, Ragland may actually be traveling to the U.K. instead.

Harry, Meghan, and their children — Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5 — are still not believed to be spending Christmas at Sandringham with the rest of the royal family.

Harry and Meghan last spent Christmas at Sandringham in 2018, which also marked the last time they celebrated the holiday in the U.K.

In 2019, Harry, Meghan, and Archie spent Christmas privately in Canada.

By early 2020, they had relocated to the U.S. — California, specifically.

The family spent the next six Christmases there at their home in Montecito.

Meanwhile, Meghan’s new TV role is drawing backlash before the show has even aired.

Critics have already labeled it “doomed to be a hate watch,” according to reports.

The show’s reception remains uncertain, but the online conversation is already intense.

Adding to the family pressure, Meghan’s half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr., has been named a person of interest in a child abuse investigation involving their father, Thomas Markle Sr.

The investigation, which is being conducted in the Philippines, has drawn significant media attention.

Multiple outlets, including InStyle, the New York Post, and Us Weekly, have reported on the development.

Thomas Markle Jr. initially reported his father to authorities before being named a person of interest himself.

The case remains open, with no charges filed yet.

Meghan has not publicly commented on the investigation.

Harry’s London appearance, however, kept the focus on his professional work.

Branding expert Eric Schiffer, chairman of Reputation Management Consultants, told Page Six in September that Harry can command nearly $1 million for exclusive speaking engagements.

“Harry’s royal title and persona can still do damage to an event budget,” Schiffer said.

“For a keynote, he’s getting anywhere from $250,000 to $750,000 and for elite, exclusive events close to $1 million.”

Schiffer noted, however, that “not every one of these stops is a cash grab with hidden checks.”

Harry’s recent New York trip was described as quick — he was back in London by Wednesday for the Wanderlust event.

The couple has also been managing changes at their production company, Archewell Productions.

Chanel Pysnik, their Head of Nonfiction, Film & TV for the past five and a half years, is leaving the company, Deadline reported on Tuesday.

Pysnik executive produced numerous Archewell projects.

Her departure is the latest in a series of staff changes at the couple’s media ventures.

Despite the professional and personal turbulence, Harry and Meghan continue to move forward with their initiatives.

Meghan’s lifestyle brand, As Ever, recently launched a new fig spread just in time for the holiday season.

Sharing the news on Instagram, As Ever described the latest addition as “a taste of the holidays.”

The brand highlighted its “rich, naturally honeyed flavour and jammy texture.”

“Delicate figs are simmered into a luscious spread, with jammy notes and subtle sweetness,” the brand said.

The fig spread is available on the website and can also be purchased as part of two seasonal sets.

The Holiday Trio pairs the fig spread with apple spread and orange marmalade.

The Fig Trio offers three fig spreads for those looking to stock up.
