Liv Morgan's WWE Title at Risk After Crown Jewel Swap

Liv Morgan's WWE Title at Risk After Crown Jewel Swap

Liv Morgan could lose her WWE Women’s World Championship to Tiffany Stratton after Crown Jewel, according to a report from NDTV Sports.

Sam Roberts pitched the idea on the Notsam Wrestling podcast.

He laid out a three-woman title change that starts with Chelsea Green beating Morgan at Crown Jewel in Riyadh on Saturday, November 7.

Then, on the following Monday’s RAW, which falls on November 9, Stratton cashes in her Money in the Bank contract on Morgan.

Roberts specifically said he does not want Morgan to take two losses on the same show.

So the cash-in would wait until the next night’s television broadcast.

“I want to see Chelsea Green beat Liv Morgan and then maybe Tiffany Stratton cashes in on the RAW after Crown Jewel,” Roberts said on the podcast.

“You don’t want Liv Morgan to lose twice on one show. But maybe the RAW after Crown Jewel, a Monday, a week from when the day this podcast comes out. Tiffany Stratton cashes in on Liv Morgan.”

Morgan is scheduled to defend against Green in a Champion vs. Champion match at Crown Jewel.

The match is for the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship.

Morgan goes in as the Women’s World Champion.

Green goes in as the WWE Women’s Champion.

Morgan won the Crown Jewel title in 2024.

She is now chasing a second reign.

Green is the one standing in her way.

Green also has a personal reason for wanting this win.

She is looking for payback after Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez distracted her on the October 12 edition of RAW.

That distraction let Roxanne Perez pick up the win over Green.

Stratton has been trying to cash in her Money in the Bank contract on Morgan for weeks.

She has tried several times, but the champion got away before the briefcase could be used successfully.

The 27-year-old has not found the right opening yet.

Roberts’ booking is designed to give her one.

His idea also gives Green a big win before Stratton steps in.

This would make Green a transitional champion, but a celebrated one.

Green has been having a dream run since her return to WWE.

She quickly got over with the fans and became one of the most popular acts in the promotion.

Her segments on SmackDown were some of the most entertaining on the show.

She became the inaugural Women’s United States Champion.

After her reign ended, she continued to deliver entertaining performances.

WWE pushed her into the main event spot and made her the Interim WWE Women’s Champion.

Outside the ring, Green is married to Matt Cardona.

Cardona has been very proud of his wife’s accomplishments.

Recently, he sent a message to her on social media.

“I can look…and I can touch! @chelseaagreen,” Cardona wrote.

Green recently made a confession about the physical toll of wrestling.

During an appearance on PIX11, she said people always ask her if wrestling is fake.

“That drives me nuts because I’m putting my body on the line on live television every single week,” Green said.

“Just this year alone, I broke my ankle in two places and my orbital bone. So, I mean, no, it’s not fake.”

She said wrestlers put their bodies on the line for the sake of the fans’ entertainment.

She asked fans to just enjoy the performances.

“Would we ask a soap actress, ‘Is that real?’ Or would we ask a stunt performer when you go to a live show? What we’re doing is, it’s very much real. It’s very much dangerous. We put our bodies on the line for your entertainment. Just enjoy it. Enjoy the storyline. But what everybody on that stage achieves is extraordinary. You can’t fake jumping off the top rope.”

Stratton is a 27-year-old rising star.

She won the Money in the Bank briefcase earlier this year.

She has been waiting for the right moment to cash in and become champion.

If Roberts’ booking becomes reality, she would get that moment on RAW.

The RAW after Crown Jewel is November 9.

That is a Monday, one week after the podcast came out.

Roberts’ idea has been discussed in wrestling media.

It has not been confirmed by WWE.

It is a fan booking pitch, not a reported plan.

But the fact that it is being talked about shows the uncertainty around Morgan’s title reign.

Morgan has been Women’s World Champion for several months.

She has defended the title against multiple challengers.

Stratton has been a persistent threat.

Green has also been a credible challenger.

The Crown Jewel match is a Champion vs. Champion match.

That means both women are putting their titles on the line.

The winner will be the Women’s Crown Jewel Champion.

But the Women’s World Championship and the WWE Women’s Championship are also at stake in the match.

If Green wins, she becomes the Women’s World Champion.

If Morgan wins, she becomes the WWE Women’s Champion.

The match is scheduled for Saturday, November 7 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
