Travis Kelce Can’t Wait for First Christmas as a Married Man With Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce is ready to deck the halls with his wife, Taylor Swift.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end shared his excitement for the upcoming holiday season in a new interview with WWD on November 5, 2026.
Kelce was promoting his winter campaign with Tommy Hilfiger when he opened up about celebrating Christmas for the first time as a married man.
“I’m excited for my first holiday as a married man,” Kelce told WWD.
“I love all the old traditions and can’t wait to start some new ones.”
He added, “I start celebrating as that tree goes up.”
Kelce and Swift exchanged vows at Madison Square Garden in July 2026 after three years together.

The wedding was a star-studded affair, drawing nearly 1,000 well-wishers to the iconic New York City venue.
Kelce called the wedding “the best night of my life” during a September conversation with ESPN’s Chris Berman.
“Marrying Taylor was more than I could have ever dreamed it to be,” he said at the time, “because of all the people that showed up, and the amount of, you know, love that was in the air.”
On the September 2 episode of his New Heights podcast with brother Jason Kelce, the tight end reflected on the magic of the evening.
“Me and Taylor are so thankful for everybody that showed up,” he said.
“From the vows to the seeing everyone to how much fun we had throughout the entire evening, and hearing that being relayed through everyone’s stories of that night—it was just so magical man, I wish it could have lasted longer than it did.”
One of the most memorable parts for Kelce was seeing friends and family from all corners of their lives come together.

“It was so cool to see everyone from my childhood not only mesh with Taylor, but [the people] from her childhood and her family and friends,” he explained, “and people that she works with to people that we’ve encountered over the course of our career and who we just admire as people and have become good friends with now.”
Since the wedding, both have kept busy.
Kelce is back on the football field for another NFL season with the Chiefs.
Swift has been promoting her song “I Knew It, I Knew You” from the Toy Story 5 soundtrack, which is widely expected to be nominated for an Oscar in January 2027.
During a Q&A for the movie in New York City, Swift gave a glimpse into their married life.
She opened up about how she connected with the bond between Toy Story 5 characters Bonnie and Blaze.
Joined by director Andrew Stanton, she shared in a video posted on X, “I’d love to pile on to what Andrew was saying about finding someone who’s the same genre as weird and silly as you are and just why Bonnie and Blaze’s story resonated with me so much.”

Referencing her friend Abigail Anderson, Swift added, “When I moved to Nashville when I was 14, you know, you’re the new kid in school and you’re like, ‘Who should I be friends with? These girls are cool, these girls are cool, these are nice girls.’ But there was one girl named Abigail — and she even has curly hair, too, like Blaze — and the two of us, all we wanted to do was talk in Napoleon Dynamite voices.”
Abigail and Taylor have been friends for more than 20 years.
“And we still do this — and it’s something our husbands have to put up with,” Taylor quipped before impersonating the iconic character played by Jon Heder.
This holiday season marks a milestone for the newlyweds.
Last year, the pair spent Christmas together while they were engaged.
At the time, Kelce shared on New Heights that the best gift he received was from Swift.
“The best gift that I got was from Taylor,” he told listeners.

“But it gives away things that we’re trying to keep in house. So I’m not going to say it.”
“And I love you, Tay,” he sweetly added.
According to a source who spoke to the Sun last year, the couple reportedly spent the holiday on a ski vacation following his Christmas Day game against the Denver Broncos.
“He’s looking forward to spending time in the mountains with Taylor, enjoying a real winter getaway complete with skiing, hot chocolate, cozy rooms, and chilling out while watching the snow fall,” the source said.
The insider also claimed Kelce spent $140,000 on presents for Swift, including a $90,000 Rolex.
“He has been working on this for several weeks and picked out some beautiful items from her favorite brands, like Dior, to ensure she has the perfect outfits ready for their trip in the coming weeks,” the source said.
In a separate interview with Page Six, Kelce also revealed his “perfect holiday” would be having a night game on Christmas Day with his “entire family” in attendance.

Swift has been a staple at Kelce’s home games this season.
The couple made their most recent joint appearance in October for a Manhattan dinner date.
Kelce, 37, and Swift, 36, have been navigating their busy schedules while making time for each other.
As the Christmas season approaches, fans are eager to see how the couple will blend their traditions.
The tight end’s comments suggest a mix of old favorites and new rituals.
Whether that means matching Christmas onesies — as Kelce joked about with Us Weekly — or something more private remains to be seen.
For now, the NFL star is clear about one thing: the celebration starts when the tree goes up.
