90210 Stars Tori Spelling and Brian Austin Green Reunite for Thriller

Beverly Hills, 90210 stars Tori Spelling and Brian Austin Green have reunited for a new thriller microseries.
The two, who played iconic 1990s TV couple Donna Martin and David Silver, just wrapped production on the project.
Filming ended Wednesday in Los Angeles, according to VertTV, the studio behind the microdrama.
Also joining them is Carol Potter, best remembered as Cindy Walsh, the mother of Brenda and Brandon Walsh on 90210.
The microseries does not yet have a title, plot details or a release date.
VertTV is keeping all of that under wraps for now.
This is the first vertical microseries for both Spelling and Green.
It is also the first time the three 90210 alums have worked together since the 2019 one-season project BH90210.
In that show, they played fictionalized versions of themselves trying to reboot the original teen drama.
BH90210 aired two decades after the original series went off the air.
The new project is a scripted thriller, not a meta-comedy.
VertTV is a Los Angeles-based microdrama studio launched in July 2026.
It was founded by Hollywood veterans Jeffrey Schenck, Barry Barnholtz and Peter Sullivan.
The studio has done over 200 TV movies for Lifetime and Hallmark in the past.

Now it is betting on bite-sized dramas designed for mobile phone audiences.
These vertical microdramas are shot in portrait mode for viewing on smartphones.
The microseries is written and directed by Theo Buckwald.
Producers include Barnholtz, Sullivan, Ben Rosenthal, Brian Nolan and Schenck.
VertTV has already released other microdramas, including the romance Finding Hope.
That project starred Fuller House alums Jodie Sweetin, John Brotherton and Marla Sokoloff.
It dropped in September 2026.
Another VertTV microdrama is Lone Star Hearts, starring Cindy Busby and Josh Henderson.
There is also Chonda, a vertical fish-out-of-water comedy starring Chonda Pierce and Regan Burns.
The production of microdramas in North America and elsewhere is booming.
At the same time, spending on traditional content for linear TV and streaming platforms is in decline in Hollywood.
VertTV also launched with a standalone mobile app for iOS and Android devices.
The app is a key destination for the studio’s original slate.
The booming sector of verticals has been inundated with AI-generated titles recently.

VertTV insists it shoots vertical series with real actors on real sets.
The studio says it does not use generative AI in its productions.
Spelling and Green starred on 90210 for all 10 seasons, from 1990 to 2000.
Their characters, Donna Martin and David Silver, began dating in season 2.
They had an on-and-off roller-coaster relationship throughout the series.
It culminated with a wedding in the final season.
Behind the scenes, the two had a secret fling during the show’s early run.
Spelling revealed this in 2024 on her Misspelling podcast.
“I was young, and I was caught up in it,” Spelling said.
“I love his fiancée [Sharna Burgess], it’s not that. But if he says something to me, I get so flustered and riled up, and it takes me right back to being my 18-year-old self.”
The two revisited the relationship in a later episode of Spelling’s podcast.
During that conversation, Green could not remember the first time the couple had sex.
“I feel like such a stupid girl right now,” confessed Spelling.
She recalled it happening at Disneyland after a cast appearance.

“Wasn’t it at Shannen’s house?” Green asked.
In another conversation on his Oldish podcast, the two spoke about their 18-year estrangement after 90210 ended.
They contributed that estrangement to a lack of communication after the show wrapped.
The new microseries marks a professional reunion, not a personal one.
Green is currently engaged to dancer Sharna Burgess.
The couple got engaged in July 2023 and have a son, Zane, born in June 2022.
Recent speculation about their relationship has circulated online.
Fans noticed that Burgess has not worn her engagement ring in recent weeks.
The last time she was seen wearing the diamond ring was in a video posted on September 28, 2026.
A Reddit post titled “No bling for Sharna” pointed out the absence.
Neither Green nor Burgess have addressed the rumors publicly.
VertTV has not announced a release window for the thriller microseries.
The studio is expected to reveal more details in the coming months.
For now, fans of the original 90210 have a new reunion to look forward to.
