Garth Brooks Extends 2027 Tour with 5 New Irish Cities

BREAKING: Garth Brooks Extends His Tour Into 2027 — 5 New Irish Cities
Garth Brooks has officially extended his Blame It All On My Roots Tour into 2027.
The first announced 2027 dates are entirely international.
Brooks revealed five tour destinations in Ireland for May and June next year.
He will play multiple concerts in each city.
Belfast, Galway, Kilkenny, Limerick and Cork are the cities on the docket.
"I've been dreaming of this a long time, Ireland," Brooks said in an Instagram Stories slide as he announced the news on Thursday morning, November 5.
Brooks posted a video to social media announcing the new cities.
It shows him walking through a backstage loading area toward a trunk.
"They're telling me there's something in this truck I wanna see. I'm excited," the singer says.
He opened it up, rummaged around inside and then looked up at a piece of paper taped to the bottom of the trunk's lid.
"Oh, maybe it's that," Brooks continued, tapping the paper.
On it is a list of the five Irish cities where Brooks will tour — Kilkenny, Galway, Cork, Limerick and Belfast.
"Ireland, we're coming to you this time," Brooks revealed.
Tickets for all dates go on sale Thursday, November 12 at 8 AM local time.
Pricing and other details have not yet been made available.

THE FULL LIST OF 2027 DATES
The show dates in Ireland will take place in May and June 2027.
May 21 and 22 — Belfast, UK at Boucher Road.
May 29 and 30 — Galway, Ireland at Pearse Stadium.
June 4 and 5 — Kilkenny, Ireland at UPMC Nowlan Park.
June 11 and 12 — Limerick, Ireland at TUS Gaelic Grounds.
June 18 and 19 — Cork, Ireland at Pairc Ui Chaoimh.
That's ten concerts across five venues in five cities.
BACKGROUND: BROOKS' RELATIONSHIP WITH IRELAND
Brooks' last performances in Ireland were his epic five sold-out nights at Croke Park in September 2022.
Announcing the shows on Thursday, Brooks said: "This has been a dream of mine since the first time we played Ireland. Once you get a taste of how the Irish love music, you can't play there enough!"
The 2022 run was a massive commercial and cultural moment.
All five nights at Dublin's Croke Park sold out.
It followed a complicated history with Irish bookings — Brooks had originally scheduled five Croke Park shows in 2014, but they were nearly canceled over licensing disputes with local residents and Dublin City Council.
That conflict was eventually resolved, and the 2022 shows became some of the most celebrated of his career.
Now he's returning to five different cities, spreading the tour across the island.

TICKET INFORMATION
Fans have just one week to get ready to grab a ticket.
The sale goes live for Belfast, Galway, Kilkenny, Limerick and Cork tickets on Thursday, November 12 at 8 AM.
Tickets will be available through Ticketmaster.
There has not been a presale announced for this run of shows, and there is no sign of a presale on Ticketmaster's website.
That means no presale is likely to be available for tickets ahead of the official 8 AM sale time.
PRICING: A MAJOR UNKNOWN
Right now, we just don't know how much tickets will cost.
But Brooks himself confirmed on his website that he doesn't believe how much money you have should determine where you sit for a concert.
According to the "Friends in Low Places" hitmaker, "every seat" on his Blame It All On My Roots Tour is priced the same.
That policy has been a signature of his recent touring.
In the U.S., Brooks has insisted on a flat pricing model — no tiered seating based on proximity to the stage.
The question remains whether the country superstar will maintain control over ticket prices in Ireland, or whether Ticketmaster's dynamic pricing model will dictate the cost.
Dynamic pricing, also known as surge pricing, adjusts ticket prices in real time based on demand.
It has become controversial in recent years, particularly during high-demand on-sales for artists like Bruce Springsteen, Taylor Swift and Oasis.
In 2022, when Brooks played at Croke Park, standing tickets were around €65, while seated tickets were just over €80.

While his U.S. tour philosophy says he would like to keep prices down, fans should budget for potential increases.
THE VENUES
Each of the five venues is a major sports ground in its region.
Boucher Road in Belfast is a large outdoor events space that has hosted major concerts before.
Pearse Stadium in Galway is the home of the Galway GAA county teams.
UPMC Nowlan Park in Kilkenny is the headquarters of Kilkenny GAA.
TUS Gaelic Grounds in Limerick is the home of Limerick GAA.
Pairc Ui Chaoimh in Cork is the home of Cork GAA.
All five are GAA (Gaelic Athletic Association) grounds, a pattern consistent with Brooks' 2022 Croke Park shows.
Croke Park is the headquarters of the GAA and the largest stadium in Ireland.
NOWLAN PARK'S CONCERT HISTORY
UPMC Nowlan Park in Kilkenny has hosted many globally renowned stars over the years.

July 2002: Paul Simon, Van Morrison, Fun Lovin' Criminals, John Spillane.

July 2004: James Taylor, Katie Melua, Bryan Ferry, Bob Geldof.

June 2005: Rod Stewart.
June 2006: Bob Dylan, The Flaming Lips, Violent Femmes, Tiny Dancers.

July 2019: Bob Dylan, Neil Young & Promise of the Real, Glen Hansard.

Now Garth Brooks will join that list in June 2027.
LOCAL REACTION
Peter Aiken of Aiken Promotions, while at KCLR last June, promised he was working on something big for the locality for 2027.
Kilkenny GAA posted an online teaser on Tuesday evening, suggesting a major announcement was coming.
At 8 o'clock Thursday morning, it was confirmed.
Colin Ahern, the General Manager of the Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel, says such gigs bring a boost to the locality.
Kilkenny Mayor Andrew McGuinness has also reacted to the announcement.
OTHER INTERNATIONAL DATES

Brooks' Irish shows are not the first international dates he has announced for the 2026 Blame It All On My Roots Tour.
Last month, he added multiple stops in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada for December.
When he announced that news, he called Hamilton "the first stop as we bring the Blame It All On My Roots Tour north," implying that more Canadian dates might be forthcoming.
Before he departs the U.S., he has two more domestic dates to fulfill.
Brooks will play Kansas City, Missouri this upcoming weekend, followed by four Seattle shows later in November.
Though Brooks' Blame It All On My Roots Tour has been a wildly successful run, the Irish extension represents a major strategic move.
It takes the tour into a third calendar year and into a market where Brooks has proven drawing power.
WHAT'S NEXT
Tickets go on sale November 12 at 8 AM.
Pricing will be announced either at that time or shortly before.
More Canadian dates may also be announced, given Brooks' comments about Hamilton being "the first stop north."
For now, Irish fans have a week to prepare.
Given the demand for Brooks' 2022 Croke Park shows, these ten concerts across five cities are expected to sell quickly.
Whether Ticketmaster's dynamic pricing will apply remains an open question.
Brooks' stated philosophy of equal pricing for every seat may clash with the standard Irish ticketing model.
Fans will find out on November 12.
