Peacock's hit reality dating series "Love Island USA" is now casting Savannah-area singles for its upcoming ninth season.

Producers ITV America and City Media Entertainment, the show's casting team, are accepting applications and nominations for local singles interested in heading to the villa.

Casting producers are looking for diverse individuals with various backgrounds, passions, and occupations from big cities to small towns.

According to the show's casting team, interested applicants can monitor Peacock's official website or the network's official casting channels for additional application information as it becomes available.

To apply directly, complete the online application at loveislandusa.castingcrane.com/age-gate.

You can also nominate someone by emailing LoveIslandUSACasting@ITV.com with the person's name, your relationship to them, their contact information, and their social media handles.

The casting crew said you are able to nominate eligible friends, co-workers and family by emailing their name, relationship to you, contact info and social handles.

Alternatively, you can message the team on Instagram @loveislandusacasting.

On the show, islanders leave the outside world to live in a villa in Fiji.

They couple up and compete in challenges while trying to avoid being "dumped" from the island.

Viewers can vote for their favorite islanders, influencing the action.

Peacock calls "Love Island USA" the No. 1 streaming title of summer 2026 and its No. 1 original program.

Season 9 will premiere in summer 2027 on Peacock.

This casting call is part of a nationwide search that includes multiple cities across the United States.

Other markets where the show is seeking singles include Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Memphis, Tennessee; Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Charleston, South Carolina; Boise, Idaho; Cleveland, Ohio; and Central Ohio.

The show has been airing since 2019, when it originally debuted on CBS before moving to Peacock.

Peacock is NBCUniversal's streaming service, which launched in 2020.

"Love Island USA" is an adaptation of the British reality series "Love Island," which first aired in the UK in 2015.

The format originated in the Netherlands in 2005 under the title "Love Island: The Game."

In the American version, contestants — called Islanders — live in a villa in Fiji for several weeks.

They are filmed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The show typically runs multiple episodes per week, with new episodes dropping daily during the season.

Each season usually lasts about six to eight weeks.

Islanders pair up and can choose to "re-couple" with new partners throughout the season.

The couples that survive public votes and producer decisions make it to the finale.

The winning couple receives a cash prize, though the exact amount varies by season.

Past seasons have featured winners from various backgrounds, including models, fitness trainers, and students.

The show has produced multiple spin-offs, including "Love Island Games" and "Love Island: All Stars."

Casting for Season 9 comes after the show's eighth season, which aired in summer 2026.

The eighth season was well-received by critics and viewers alike, with many praising the cast chemistry and drama.

Season 8 featured Islanders from across the country, including contestants from California, Texas, Florida, and New York.

The show's production company, ITV America, is the American arm of the British broadcaster ITV.

ITV America produces a wide range of reality and competition shows, including "Hell's Kitchen" and "The Voice."

City Media Entertainment is a casting company that specializes in reality television casting.

The company has worked on shows such as "The Bachelor," "The Bachelorette," and "Married at First Sight."

For Savannah-area singles, this represents a rare opportunity to appear on a nationally televised show.

Savannah is a city in Georgia with a population of approximately 145,000 people.
