Michael Jordan’s Cincoro Tequila has officially released a new limited-edition expression called Añejo Reserva.

The bottle hits shelves just in time for the holiday gifting season.

Priced at $149.99 for a 750mL bottle, the release is already generating buzz among tequila enthusiasts and collectors.

The spirit is made from 100% Blue Weber agave sourced from both the highlands and lowlands of Jalisco, Mexico.

It is aged for 28 months in ex-Tennessee whiskey barrels.

After aging, the liquid is blended with Cincoro’s Extra Añejo to create what the brand calls a “complex flavor profile.”

Tasting notes include toasted oak, baking spices, cooked agave, and dark chocolate.

“Añejo Reserva brings a new dimension to the Cincoro portfolio, with a complex flavor profile developed through our extended aging and blending process,” said Emilia Fazzalari, Cincoro Tequila Co-Founder.

Fazzalari added that she and Jordan personally taste every batch before bottling to ensure quality.

“Michael Jordan and I personally taste every batch before bottling to ensure each expression meets the high standards of quality and craftsmanship we’ve set for Cincoro,” she said.

Jordan himself weighed in on the release.

“We set out to create something special with Añejo Reserva, and I’m really proud of the result,” said co-founder Michael Jordan.

“It’s smooth and delicious, and I’m excited to share it with friends and family this holiday season.”

The packaging features a white-and-gold bottle and a matching gift box decorated with an agave design.

Cincoro launched in 2019, co-founded by Jordan and four other NBA-associated partners, including Fazzalari.

The brand has since released several high-profile collaborations, including themed bottles with AC Milan and the Los Angeles Lakers, as well as a bottle designed by rapper Travis Scott.

Añejo Reserva became available starting November 4, 2026.

It can be purchased online and at select retailers across the United States.

Retail partners include Total Wine & More and Binny’s.

The expression is also available at select high-end bars and restaurants.

Cincoro’s previous releases have built a reputation for premium pricing and celebrity cachet.

The Añejo Reserva continues that trend, positioning itself as a luxury gift item for the holiday season.

For collectors, the limited nature of the release adds urgency.

No production numbers have been disclosed by the brand.

The tequila category has seen explosive growth in the United States over the past decade, with premium and ultra-premium expressions driving much of the demand.

Celebrity-backed brands have become a major force in the market, with names like George Clooney’s Casamigos, Dwayne Johnson’s Teremana, and Kendall Jenner’s 818 competing for shelf space.

Cincoro differentiates itself through its direct NBA ownership ties and its focus on aged expressions.

The Añejo Reserva joins a lineup that includes blanco, reposado, añejo, and extra añejo bottlings.
