This is the second major road incident involving a pedestrian in Prince George this week.

Police say no criminality or impairment are being considered as factors in that earlier incident.

Thursday’s crash occurred on Domano Boulevard, which runs parallel to Highway 16 and serves as a key access route for the shopping district.

Domano Boulevard connects to Highway 16 via a short off-ramp near the intersection with McGill Crescent.

The area includes several big-box retailers and restaurants, and is typically busy during morning hours.

Emergency crews remained on scene for hours after the crash, with multiple ambulances and police vehicles blocking access to Domano Boulevard.
