Claressa Shields Aims Below The Belt At Gervonta Davis After His Outfit Diss

Claressa Shields didn't let Gervonta Davis' fashion critique go unanswered.

Davis posted a video on his Instagram Story on November 3 showing Shields posing at her "Gloves Off, Mic On" listening party in Atlanta the night before.

She wore a fitted black jumpsuit with lace-up details along her exposed back and red thigh-high boots.

"You look a hot a** mess," Davis wrote, tagging Shields.

Shields saw it — and she answered on X (formerly Twitter) within hours.

She started by promoting her new single, "Party," with a link to Apple Music.

"Keep streaming Party," she wrote.

Then she added: "Ain't nobody thinking about that woman beating M*dget Tank."

The remark referenced domestic violence allegations that have followed Davis for years.

In October 2025, his ex-girlfriend Courtney Rossel sued him over an alleged assault at a Miami Gardens nightclub where she worked.

Rossel claimed Davis grabbed her by the hair and neck and forced her through the building.

Surveillance footage played in a Florida courtroom showed the encounter.

Davis has disputed Rossel's allegations.

His attorneys argued against her request for punitive damages, but a judge allowed her civil claim to proceed.

Davis also filed a $20 million countersuit accusing Rossel of trying to extort him.

A judge dismissed that countersuit in May 2026.

Shields' social media accusation should not be confused with a determination of criminal guilt.

She didn't stop there.

In another post on X, Shields wrote: "lol oooooweee the devil is busy 😂😂😂! For these little a** grown men to keep making it their business to speak on me is funny."

She added: "I'm an active CHAMPION 🤣🤩! UNDEFATED!"

Then she jabbed at Davis' recent inactivity in the ring.

"N****s had one☝🏾close fight and ain't came back to boxing since 🫵🏾😮💨," she wrote.

That refers to Davis' fight against Lamont Roach Jr. in March 2025.

The bout ended in a majority draw after a controversial ninth-round incident.

Davis voluntarily took a knee and went to his corner, claiming hair grease was burning his eyes.

The referee didn't count it as a knockdown.

Many observers believed that decision may have changed the outcome.

Davis' own hairstylist later publicly challenged his explanation, questioning how much grease could have remained in his hair after several days.

Papoose, Shields' boyfriend and a Brooklyn rapper, also entered the feud.

He brought up the Roach fight on Instagram Stories, tagging Davis' account.

"Roach was getting off on that n***a," Papoose wrote.

He also mocked Davis' claim about hair grease.

Davis fired back at Papoose with a threat.

"@papoose I would put you to sleep..now try what you did with old body with me..I bet they picking you up! Corny no lol," Davis wrote.

The exchange escalated to the point where both men suggested meeting face to face.

As of now, Davis has not responded to Shields' latest comments.

The listening party itself was held at an Atlanta venue on November 2.

Rolling Out presented the event, called "Gloves Off, Mic On."

Shields previewed nine tracks from her upcoming album, "What Did You Expect."

More than 500 guests attended, according to Complex.

Scrappy, Dondria, and Papoose were among them.

Papoose joined Shields onstage along with her sister.

Shields released "Party" with a music video ahead of the event.

She has promised additional music, though no official release date for the full album has been announced.

Her boxing career has continued alongside her music.

Shields remains undefeated as a professional with a record of 19-0.

She is widely regarded as one of the greatest female boxers of all time — the GWOAT, as she calls herself.

Davis, meanwhile, holds a professional record of 30-0-1.

He has not fought since the Roach draw in March 2025.

No fight has been announced for him since.
