The induction ceremony is scheduled for June 26, 2027, in Knoxville, Tennessee.
The Hall of Fame, founded in 1999, is located in Knoxville.
The class includes six inductees.

She spent her entire professional career with the Phoenix Mercury.
Taurasi led the Mercury to three WNBA championships.
She was an All-WNBA selection 14 times.
She led the league in scoring five times.

She retired on February 25, 2025.
She owns more Olympic gold medals than any other basketball player in history — six.
She also has three FIBA World Cup gold medals.
While playing overseas in Russia and Turkey, she won six EuroLeague championships.
Prior to her professional career, Taurasi played at UConn under coach Geno Auriemma.
She led UConn to three national championships.

She then led the New York Liberty to their first title in 2024.
She also won a Commissioner's Cup crown with the Liberty in 2023.
Brondello became the first head coach in Toronto Tempo history in 2025.
She joined the expansion franchise after parting ways with New York.
The Tempo finished their inaugural season 11-33.
They ended with eight straight losses and only one win in their final 21 games.
It was the first time Brondello missed the WNBA playoffs as a head coach, snapping a streak of 12 consecutive seasons.
Despite the record, there were positives, including strong attendance and the rise of breakout guard Marina Mabrey.

Brondello has made four WNBA Finals appearances through her career.
She has coached in the WNBA since 2005 and spent 14 of those seasons as a head coach.
She also represented her home country of Australia as both a player and coach.
She led the Australian Opals to Olympic bronze at the 2024 Paris Games.
She also led them to a pair of FIBA World Cup silver medals in 2018 and 2022.
As a player, Brondello was a one-time WNBA All-Star, a WNBL MVP, and a three-time Olympic medalist.
On October 20, 2026, Brondello was inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame.
The other inductees in the 2027 class include Mike Thibault.

The class also includes Dee Kantner.
Kantner is a veteran WNBA and NCAA referee.

Molly Bolin Kazmer completes the class.
Nicknamed "Machine Gun Molly," she was arguably the greatest to play the 6-on-6 version of girls' and women's basketball popular for decades in states like Texas, Oklahoma, and Iowa.
As a senior at Moravia High School in Iowa, Bolin averaged 54.8 points per game.
"For nearly thirty years, the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame has honored the greatest of the game, and we are thrilled to welcome these six inductees into the distinguished seats of the Hall of Fame," said Michelle Marciniak, CEO of the WBHOF, in a statement.
"Selection for this esteemed recognition celebrates the hard work, success, and record-breaking journeys for those to join this global class."
"We cannot wait to welcome the Class of 2027."
The Hall of Fame honors the greatest players, coaches, contributors, and officials in women's basketball history.

The 2027 class marks another milestone for the sport, bringing together legends from different eras and different roles in the game.
Taurasi's inclusion was widely expected given her career achievements.
Brondello's recognition comes during a transitional year in her coaching career.
The class reflects the growing depth of women's basketball history.
