Garth Brooks Adds 10 New Ireland Shows for 2027

BREAKING: Garth Brooks Extends His Tour Into 2027.

The country superstar has officially extended his Blame It All On My Roots Tour into 2027.

The first announced 2027 dates are all international.

Brooks revealed five tour destinations in Ireland for May and June next year.

He will play multiple concerts in each city.

Belfast, Galway, Kilkenny, Limerick and Cork are the cities on the docket.

"I've been dreaming of this a long time, Ireland," Brooks said in an Instagram Stories slide.

He announced the news on Thursday morning, November 5.

Brooks posted a video to social media showing the new cities.

The video shows him walking through a backstage loading area toward a trunk.

"They're telling me there's something in this truck I wanna see," the singer says.

"I'm excited."

He opened the trunk, rummaged around inside, and then looked up at a piece of paper taped to the bottom of the trunk's lid.

"Oh, maybe it's that," Brooks continued, tapping the paper.

On the paper is a list of the five Irish cities where Brooks will tour.

"Ireland, we're coming to you this time," Brooks revealed.

Tickets for all dates go on sale Thursday, November 12 at 8 AM local time.

Pricing and other details have not yet been made available.

Brooks confirmed on his website that he does not believe how much money you have should determine where you sit for a concert.

According to the Friends in Low Places hitmaker, every seat on his Blame It All On My Roots Tour is priced the same.

The question remains whether the country superstar will control ticket prices in Ireland or whether Ticketmaster's dynamic pricing model will control the prices.

In 2022, when he played at Croke Park, standing tickets were around €65, while seated tickets were just over €80.

Here is the full list of show dates.

May 21 and 22 — Belfast, UK @ Boucher Road.

May 29 and 30 — Galway, Ireland @ Pearse Stadium.

June 4 and 5 — Kilkenny, Ireland @ UPMC Nowlan Park.

June 11 and 12 — Limerick, Ireland @ TUS Gaelic Grounds.

June 18 and 19 — Cork, Ireland @ Pairc Ui Chaoimh.

Brooks' last performances in Ireland were his epic five sold-out nights at Croke Park in September 2022.

Announcing the shows on Thursday, Brooks said: "This has been a dream of mine since the first time we played Ireland."

"Once you get a taste of how the Irish love music, you can't play there enough!"

The Irish shows are not the first international dates he has announced for the 2026 Blame It All On My Roots Tour.

Last month, he added multiple stops in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada for December.

When he announced that news, he called Hamilton "the first stop as we bring the Blame It All On My Roots Tour north."

That wording implies more Canadian dates might be forthcoming.

Before he departs the U.S., Brooks has two more domestic dates to fulfill.

He will play Kansas City, Missouri this upcoming weekend.

That will be followed by four Seattle shows later in November.

Peter Aiken of Aiken Promotions, while at KCLR last June, promised he was working on something big for the locality for 2027.

Kilkenny GAA posted an online teaser on Tuesday evening.

At 8 o'clock on Thursday morning it was confirmed that Garth Brooks will perform at Kilkenny GAA HQ across the June Bank Holiday weekend.

Colin Ahern, General Manager of the Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel, says such gigs bring a boost to the locality.

Kilkenny Mayor Andrew McGuinness also reacted to the act confirmation.

UPMC Nowlan Park in Kilkenny has hosted many globally renowned stars over the years.

The list includes Bob Dylan in July 2001 and July 2006.

Paul Simon played there in July 2002.

Shania Twain performed in July 2003.

James Taylor came in July 2004.

Rod Stewart played in June 2005 and June 2016.

Andrea Bocelli performed in July 2006.

Dolly Parton came in June 2008.

Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band played in July 2013 and again in May 2024.

Bob Dylan and Neil Young & Promise of the Real performed together in July 2019.

No presale has been announced for this run of shows.

Brooks' Blame It All On My Roots Tour has been a widely popular run.

The tour name references his 1990 hit "Friends in Low Places," which includes the lyric "Blame it all on my roots."

Brooks is one of the best-selling music artists in U.S. history.

He has sold more than 170 million records worldwide.

The Irish tour marks a significant return to a country where Brooks has a passionate fan base.

The 2022 Croke Park shows were his first performances in Ireland in years.

Those five nights were met with overwhelming demand.

Now he is expanding to five different cities across the island.

The new tour dates cover Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Belfast is in Northern Ireland, part of the United Kingdom.

Galway, Kilkenny, Limerick and Cork are all in the Republic of Ireland.

Each venue is a major sports or entertainment ground.

Boucher Road in Belfast is an outdoor event space.

Pearse Stadium in Galway is a GAA stadium.

UPMC Nowlan Park in Kilkenny is the home of Kilkenny GAA.

TUS Gaelic Grounds in Limerick is the home of Limerick GAA.

Pairc Ui Chaoimh in Cork is the home of Cork GAA.

The announcement has generated significant excitement among Irish fans.

Many took to social media to express their anticipation.

The tour extension into 2027 signals Brooks' continued commitment to live performance.

Brooks had previously hinted at retirement from touring.

He announced in 2020 that he would retire from touring after his Stadium Tour.

But the Blame It All On My Roots Tour has kept him on the road.

The 2027 Irish dates show no sign of a slowdown.

Fans in the U.S. will be watching to see if Brooks adds more domestic dates for 2027.
