Jordon Hudson Spotted at Belichick’s UNC Game the Day After Their Split

Just one day after news of their breakup became public, 25-year-old Jordon Hudson was spotted right back on the sidelines at Kenan Stadium supporting 74-year-old Bill Belichick and the Tar Heels.

TMZ Sports first reported on Friday, Oct. 30, that Belichick and Hudson had quietly ended their romantic relationship late last year.

PEOPLE confirmed the breakup and reported that Hudson has been seeing other people since the relationship ended.

But on Saturday, Oct. 31 — the very next day — Hudson was at UNC's home game against the Miami Hurricanes.

The Tar Heels lost a narrow 38-35 game.

Hudson watched from the sideline, as she has done all season.

"Hudson has been a regular fixture on the sidelines at UNC games this season," PEOPLE reported.

She attended UNC's 37-26 home loss to Notre Dame on Oct. 3.

She was there on Oct. 17 when Belichick coached the Tar Heels to a 24-20 win over Duke, and the two shared a big hug on the field, captured on video and posted to Instagram.

Hudson's continued presence has created confusion around the reported split.

People close to Hudson have denied that the relationship ended.

"Another said they've spoken to her multiple times in 2026 and had no indication of a breakup," WRAL's Pat Welter reported.

USA TODAY Sports spoke with two people inside the UNC football office, including a high-ranking staff member, who said they were unaware of any breakup.

Neither Belichick nor Hudson has publicly confirmed the split.

Belichick was asked about it during a press conference on Monday, Nov. 2.

Brian Murphy of WRAL asked Belichick if he had "any comment" on the split reports and what the breakup "might mean" for UNC's football program moving forward.

Belichick replied: "Do you work for a tabloid now?"

He paused for a moment before adding: "I'll keep my personal comments and relationships to myself if that's alright with you."

The response drew sharp criticism from former NFL star Cam Newton.

"Now, all of a sudden, you want to keep all your personal relationships to yourself," Newton said on his podcast on Nov. 4.

"You wasn't being private when you was getting caught on a Ring camera. My boy was outside, boy, drinking some coffee, trying to watch the paper, huh? That wasn't private?"

Newton was referring to Ring camera footage that showed Belichick leaving a woman's home early in the morning in 2023.

The footage became a running joke during the 2024 Netflix roast of Tom Brady, when Brady made a pointed reference to the camera catching his former coach leaving at 6 a.m.

Snoop Dogg also joked about Hudson's age during the February 2025 NFL Honors ceremony, where the couple was in attendance.

Newton continued: "And for Halloween, you know what they were? One was a fisherman, and the other one was a mermaid. That's an oxymoron in this whole situation. You got to be on some type of drugs to not realize [it]."

Newton's point was that Belichick had been comfortable with public attention when the relationship was going well but wanted the subject closed now that split reports were circulating.

Belichick and Hudson began dating in early 2023, following his split from Linda Holliday, his girlfriend of 16 years.

The pair reportedly first met in February 2021, when Hudson, a former Bridgewater State University cheerleader, was still in college.

Belichick has also shown his support for Hudson in public.

He attended her cheerleading competition in April.

When Hudson's Code Black team won the championship, the two posed for a selfie, with Hudson jokingly calling Belichick "Bill the WAG" in her Instagram caption on April 26.

Days later, on May 2, the pair attended the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs, where they coordinated black ensembles and posed for photos on the red carpet.

Despite the reported split, the two reportedly remain close friends and continue their business partnerships, according to TMZ.

But that business involvement has reportedly caused concern within Belichick's family.

According to an exclusive story by Page Six dated Nov. 2, Belichick's family is relieved that the romantic relationship has ended.

But the relief has not settled all of their concerns.

"There's definitely a sense of relief now that Bill and Jordon have split, but the family's concerns haven't completely gone away," a source told Page Six.
